Make em’ Laugh.

Today's Tids Issue 3,155
Opening Stuff:

A rushing stream ripples through rocks and swirls into quiet pools. A tree shaded stream broad and shallow, clear and crystal waters. It numbs my mind. Just one reason why this will be the shortest  Tids ever, or at least vying for the title.

Yesterday I spoke of Eras, and how they come to an end, no matter how high a celeb’s  or athlete’s or world leader’s  star may rise.  But a reader, a good guy from Tampa reminds me that the love and power of Jesus Christ lives on forever.

Children possess enormous unrelenting persistence to get their way.

The Question:
Name five Robin Williams Movies.

The Headlines:
--Israel Slams Idea Of UN Panel To examine War Crimes In Gaza.
--Russia Moves troops To Islands Claimed By Japan; Nato Warns That Russia Aid May Be First Step In Ukraine Invasion.

Robin Williams could really make you laugh. Part of it was that his imagination that had no bounds, no restrictions. I’m reminded today of another outrageously funny guy, Jonathon winters. He like Robin also made us laugh out of control, but also carried heavy loads. They fought their demons, but like Robin last night, lost. Too many take the burdens of antagonized souls too lightly. Seeya someday Mork. I’m still smiling, and feeling something painful in my heart.

Few things are more enticing than freshly made, old fashion donuts.

It’s becoming hard to comment on the Middle East in terms of mainstream thinking. Maybe it’s because main stream thinking belives there is a solution to the inexplicable hatred of a powerful religious group against all others. Maybe it’s because there is no word compromise in the vocabulary of the extreme. But, good people are dying and the hands of the ruthless. Words and talk will not work. It only leaves walking away or walking in with might.

This the earliest I have ever worn fleece.

The good news is that potato salad season may end early this year. And rich hot creamy gravy season may get a good month’s head start.

I could easily agree that Maine is the most beautiful state in the Union. Oh, I think Massachusetts is pretty beautiful. But they have way more people crowding out the scenery.

The Answer:
There were many from the quirky little One Hour Photo to his best known like Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Morning Viet Nam. I loved August Rush. Some others were Night at the Museum, Patch Adams, Jumanji. The Fisher King and Moscow on the Hudson. I’m sure I missed many of your favorites. Or maybe, you just didn’t like Robin Williams.

Sometimes short is good.
