Salt in my hair.

Today's Tids Issue 3,328
Opening Stuff:

The Volvo Round the World Ocean Fleet is in a very tight race coming up the Atlantic for its only USA stopover in Newport. It is now anticipated the boats will arrive in about 24 hours. Recently, they have been putting sailors into the water to keep Sargasso seaweed off of the keel, while breeze volatility frustrates the skippers.. It’s starting to stir around here, as the anticipation grows for the winner to show up at Castle Hill.  The sailor’s will be scouring the shorelines for cold brewski signs. Jump on board:

Something will always be new to all of those people who have never seen or heard of what’s old to some.

New Business opportunity Alert, Department:
Speaking of snacking, the ex-UN Chief Kofi Anan Says the way to stop Global Warming is to eat more insects. Think about how many acolytes will blindly follow this GW Guru. Build your insect farms today and get a jump on the competition. (Yes, he is seriously proposing eating insects to rid the planer of meat producing herds, a giant threat to the environment. Next he will replace humans, the other significant intruder upon a happy environments, with robots. “Eat your ants, Robotkins!”)

A new economic map has come out titled, “Most valuable product each state exports”. The Midwest states are strong in stuff like Trucks and Cars. Many states look good with essentials like Petroleum and coal.  Plenty of the states are strong in Airplanes or pharmaceuticals. Then there are a few who seem to be out of the big manufacturing, natural resources loop. In Maine it’s lobsters, Idaho sends out Chips”, and strangely Virginia is big in Soy beans.  Here in little ole’ RI it’s waste! Yes RI’s biggest most valuable export is Iron and Steel Waste – scrap metal. RI, The Junkyard State.

I liked the way The Voice went last night. Nice to see Meghan, a dark horse two to three weeks ago, and now catching on with the voters. She’s a bigger talent than some of the more touted singers. Sawyer still looks strong, and Koryn keeps on growing in the hearts of the people out there.

A very nice, hard working and quite successful Latin guy, maybe Mexican, named Jose is painting my house. Yesterday I asked of the 5th of May was a big holiday for him. He answered, “No, the 4th of July is big for me and my wife.”

The Answer:
The top movies as raned by film critics are O brother, Where art you followed by Oceans Eleven, The Perfect Storm, The Descendants, Up in the Air, Three Kings, From Dusk til Dawn, Syriana, Good Night, and Good Luck, Confessions of a dangerous man and Michael Clayton. There are 26 in all and the three lowest rated are Batman and Robin, Leatherheads and Intolerable Cruelty. One of the worst movies I have ever seen is The Men Who Stare at Goats, which was 15 on the list. I now reserve judgment on the quality of the list. http://www.ranker.com/list/george-clooney-movies-and-films-and-filmography/reference

Have an acceptable day!
