I’ll take TC – Truthfully Correct.

Today's Tids Issue 3,458
Opening Stuff:

I’m sure glad I didn’t put away my shorts for the season.

The Newton Law of physics easily explains the rise of the Tea Party, and noticeably last night, the taking of the Kentucky Governor chair for the first time since 1971 shows that TP is alive and meaningful to many with a soul! Of course that Newton Law is: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. As the left libs took over the Democrat party from hardworking families, people with a conscious and caring for the principles of American self determination (And that includes many Private sector union members) stood up tall and said loudly, Enough! We’re returning to God and nation and the core tenets of the founding. So, as long as the left tests the limits of common decency and much more, the Tea Party will survive and even flourish regardless of how demagogues have erroneously characterized it.

Graphs and charts will always suck me into a story.

It would be just fine with me if we just did away with American educators and let the teachers teach what they know to the children they know.

The Question:
Americans steal from retail merchants about $13 Billion annually. What are the ten most stolen items?

For those who think Hillary has a clear path to the presidency, take another look. Last night was a very good night for conservatives and Repubs. In addition to the big win in Kentucky. Repubs held and gained seats in The Virginia Legislature despite exhaustive efforts by Hillary pal and Gov. Terry McAulliffe. Conservatives voted down the Ohio measure to legalize Marijuana. Up in Maine’s biggest city of Portland, the $15/hr minimum wage was nixed. Houston overwhelmingly voted down a suffocating antidiscrimination law pushed hard by LGBT. Gun advocates in Oregon won big to protect the 2nd Amendment. People are sic and tired of being steamrolled. Just remember. People are smarter than what Democrats give them credit for.

I see where Under Armor is taking over large sections of big box sports stores, and that logo is getting bigger and bigger. When the company starts paying royalties for displaying that monster symbol, I might consider buying something.

I was impressed with the good reader who sent me some additional lines from the Song, Autumn Leaves (It was mentioned at the opening of Yesterday’s Tids); lines that seemed personal and important to her. So I thought today I’d give you all of the tender feeling expressed in those lyrics by Nat King Cole, with the hope you might find something meaningful too for you; a reflection on grand memories: “The falling leaves drift by the window, The Autumn leaves of red and gold. I see your lips, the summer kisses, the sun burned hands I used to hold. // Since you went away, the days grow long, And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song. But I miss you my daring most of all, when Autumn leaves start to fall.”

What really bothers me is when some smug New Yorker makes a demeaning joke about great places like Cleveland, Kansas City or Nashville. The myopic are so stilted.

When Rubber Boy Speaks, Generals Listen, Department:
Why when looking at that run-away US Army Blimp am I thinking that some lobbyist from Goodyear or Bridgestone took a bunch of Pentagon generals to a huge expensive dinner, got up during dessert, hit is spoon against the glass and said to them as they sat bloated in their stupor, “Do I have great idea for blimps for you.” Let’s see if I have this straight – we have satellites that can see and monitor anything, and somebody at the Pentagon thought it was a good idea to spend millions of taxpayer dollars on stationary blimps to monitor cruise missiles that may have entered US air space.

If Tarantino never made another movie, the world would be just fine.

The way FaceBook satisfies Investor demands is by making itself more annoying to the public at large.

The Parking Lot: Chapter 25 continues…
With just two pushes from her practiced paddle, Nancy was out of sight from any vantage point on her land. She decided, though, to hug the shore and not make the dash to her island. If Fred was near, she would be a sitting duck out on the water. She wasn’t afraid of Fred, but it was whatever insects he was attracting now after they had swatted down the two blobs.
Now that she felt fully hidden, she paddled softer, her ears and mind focused. She made a little swirl in the water and the canoe nudged its bow into a snug crevice in the shore. After a few minutes, she froze when hearing a car engine up towards her house. She had one foot out on a rock and was about get out to haul the canoe up on dry land to protect the satchel of papers, when she heard what sounded like somebody crashing through brush just above her. She turned, grabbed the bag and pulled the bow up so it would drift away, and crouched in the deep brush. She was silent as usual, but was concerned when the crashing stopped, about 15 yards into the woods from her.
She shoved the sack under a bush, and then moved effortlessly to a point where she might have a view. She heard nothing, and small shiver went through her as she wandered if she was now the one being watched. She stopped and sat on her heels, slowing her breathing. It was silent except for the car engine still rumbling near the house. She tensed as finally she heard two footstep breaking twigs. She moved like a gentle breeze to position where she finally saw through branches the colors blue and green. She smiled to herself. It was Jared’s plaid shirt. Now, how to get to him without him panicking and shooting her!
