For Unwinding:

I love gray shingles and old gray wooden dories. I relax under grey skies on misty mornings near quiet coves with gentle waves lapping on rocks, weaving streams through grasses. Pools remain as the tide ebbs, safe havens for miniature marine life until the waters rush back. The air still, yet the cold arising from waters cools my face. Take life as it is, and it will be perfect

As far as I’m concerned, Dover sole is one of the great taste treats known to man…if you can afford it. Unfortunately today, too many chefs would probably over create the dish instead of letting the natural texture and taste of the fish be the perfect treat.

Every time an entity or person takes something from the Feds, they effectively lose the ability to be what they are.

I saw a story where Federal Emergency Agency under a program called Safer – Staffing for Adequate Fire and Rescue Expenses. No wonder cities and towns can spend without thinking. The City of Providence just received  multi millions to to hire firemen they couldn’t afford under their burdened by Medicaid budgets. I wonder what freedoms the city gave up. Safer looks like a big Union program to me.

In that Bernie celebration, Hillary standing next to him looked like she was posing for a Bobble Head doll designer. She could have serious neck problems by November.

Some tech mavens see US elections becoming entirely electronic. Can you imagine the national chaos when short attention span Tweeters and other keyboard aficionados register mass complaints calling for ousters?

Here’s a classic example of the media versus the people. Both groups watched the same thing, the Obama message at the Memorial service for murdered police. The media went into its Obama Orgasmic mode while people across the nation were appalled that the leader turned it political and racial.

It’s appearing that the Republican convention will be more about anybody you can get to attend. Talk about getting away from the establishment!

We lose a lot of beauty to the temptations of convenience.

You have to wonder what Islamic foes are planning now that they see their dreams of a caliphate collapsing.
