Be contented. Don’t fret over things that aren’t there.

Today's Tids Issue 3,814
For Satisfaction:

A loved one gone, has left behind memories which live in hearts. An opportunity may have been missed, but you are in a better position to watch for it the next time. If you take stock of everything you have, you will never see what others tout. If you believe in yourself, you can control your own world. Friends and family and lovers help you stand against the deepest fears. I just had a few thoughts this morning after hearing about people how had to march to be missed. I don’t know if they are relevant; they just came out.

My heart weeps a bit this morning as I read of the destruction wrought by Isis in the antiquities museum of Mosul. Manuscripts and books of the ages are but ashes beneath the feet of liberating troops marching in. Statues from millenniums past are pebbles strewn upon the floor. The insecure always opt for obliterating the past.

This just in: A local school board has announced they are reducing the number of February school vacation days. But, the board assures kids that it will be made up when teachers sit out to support Hispanics, women and Muslims missed.

In case you are interested, Siri is still the worldly one, with a far greater ability to speak in all countries languages compared to it ‘s voice assistant wannabees.

It has been reported that six of the seven dwarfs are not Happy.

The Question:
In 1977, a radical group attacked three buildings, killing two in Washington DC, took 149 hostages for three days. What was the name of the group? What were the buildings? Bonus: What are the “Seven Deadly Sins?”

This Wiki-Links CIA revelation is a big deal. These are real facts that never should have be seen outside the intelligence agencies, especially as they have been by foreign countries, friend and foe. Though, it may turn out to be a bonanza for software writers who may have to develop an entirely new system…over night…with plenty of double time overtime.

Trump must be eating a lot since he got into the White House, because he is beginning to look like the mythical wall.

So far, there have been 193,000 homes flipped in the last twelve months, according to Bloomberg. The last time flipping reached that rarefied atmosphere was in 2006; yes, that a year or so before the crumbling of the real estate markets. There are already some signs of shortcutting sound lending practices. It just seems like it is a good idea to keep an eye on over rapid growth as we near ten years beyond he black pit of 2008. One ill-advised tweet, and the market tumbles.

Pelley of CBS is having a really big problem masking his hatred for Trump, and probably all conservatives. Last night under the guise of a serous news opinion segment, he and Democrat partisan for life, Leon Panetta, put on a farcical skit designed to bury Trump as some kind of lunatic. It was laughable, a hit job pure and simple, as if they had put the President in cement shoes.

Spell-Check has yet to incorporate the name “Melania” into its lexicon. I expect that on National Spell-Check Day we’ll see literate anti-Trampers marching to see if we’ll miss them.

Mark your calendars for April 19, the night “Fargo” returns to Fx. Of all the TV shows I tout as best ever, this actually may be it.

Hey, Husbands. Tonight, why don’t you cook a luscious meatball for all of your wives returning triumphantly from the “miss-a-women” wars. Yes, today is a day that really matters – National Meatball Day! Almost as yummy as your wife, mom, or girl friend.

The best meatball is personal thing. But here is one recipe that sounds pretty delicious to me. Grind together equal parts sirloin, pork and veal. Mix in reasonable amounts of crushed croutons, crushed garlic, oregano, parm Reggiano, basil, marjoram, dash of pepper. Smoosh together with an egg, ½ cp milk.  Slow cook in tomato broth for two hours. Serve topped with San Marzanno marinara and a dab of ricotta. Sprinkle on generously parm Reggiano and lightly basil.

All of these “Miss-a-something” days look like just another anti-Trump march. Ho-hum.

I’ll tell you who missed a woman, and are madder than hell about it – Moms, as in “Womoms”, who want their kids to receive a good education and found schools closed.

It is basically a conflict of interest for those on subsistence to vote.

(Note: I’ll try to get back to The Parking Lot Tomorrow. I know I left you hanging a bit, but circumstances beyond my control have usurped my ability to type accurately, while thinking at the same time.)

The Answer:
The group was called Hanifi Muslims and were taking revenge for family members killed by an Islamic group. The buildings were City Hall, B’nai Brith HQ and Islamic Center of Washington. US Anti-Terrorist Law enforcement and Muslim Leaders from Egypt, Pakistan and Iran were praised for the orderly finish to the raid and lack of further deaths.  Bonus. It’s always good in Lent to remind ourselves of self-destructing possibilities like Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Laziness, Wrath, Pride, Envy,

See you all tomorrow.
