Send in the Clowns; Or not.

Today's Tids Issue 3,826
For a Comfortable Escape:

How great is each morning and each day, which we all can control all by ourselves? Media overwhelms us with national and local political shenanigans – mostly mountains from molehills -- and yet the vast super-majority of people live very nicely without it. They fall in love, work hard, raise children, contribute to charitable activities, hit balls, run on roads, knit one purl two, sit on hillsides painting beautiful scenes of the USA – just do what they do. In other words, life goes on. It always goes on in a free unencumbered nation. The living, albeit people, animals or dailies waving in fields of green, somehow work together to magnify the bounty of Gods world. Rational, responsible, caring people do it very well all by themselves. So, what happens if we tune off TV, Twitter and Time. Nothing at all. We still do what we all did, and what we always will do, without the intrusion.

So, we all have two choices: Wake up under sunny skies laughing and smiling, or smashing your head against a wall because of the theatrics of relative handful of people with microphones who think they have the power. I’ll take laughing.

Iraq is considered the “Cradle of Civilization”. Check out the Bible and archeologists findings. The Tigris and Euphrates flowed and fed the growth and multiplication of humans. And the lands surrounding those first days of recorded human development, flourished anew when Jesus roamed and preached. Christianity arose when Christians spread out to new worlds with new truths about pure love and honest living. So, it is sad, quite sad to learn that Christians are giving up on the region of their origin because of Islamic abuse. One of the of the world’s most prominent Priests, Canon Andrew White, The Vicar of Baghdad, says “Christianity in Iraq is finished.” “There will be no more Christians left to find”. It is sad when things that should have no end, end.

America breathing sigh of relief: Brangelna talking amicably again.

The Question:
Two of the planet's most admired songwriters, Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Weber have the same birthday, Today. God must feel good on March twenty-second’s. Name five of the greatest songs for each.

Modern day dilemma: When a disaster strikes, do you run like hell, or stay hoping to capture a video on your phone for YouTube?

Some, perhaps many of the reasonable Dems are probably thinking that Gorsuch is a pretty good candidate. But that doesn’t mean the Leadership, read that Schumer, will ever let them forget the Garland affair. Getting even is overwhelming responsibility and the American grand experiment is suffering for it.

There is little question in my mind that there is definitely a well-defined impeachment plan progression abrewing within the minds of democrat congressional strategists.

I’m liking these duets on The Voice. I thought from the first episode of the “Blinds” that the quality was up over last year, and now you can see it as many a very good singer, at least to these amateur ears, has unfortunately had to leave the show. Of those who stayed, Chris Blue is an eerily good performer, combining voice, expression and personality. RI’er Johnny Gates showed some polish and voice too, and may be a n early fave with the young girl bloc. Add Dawson Coyle and Mark Isaiah there also. But, on Monday one of my early favorites Laura Dusky reminded me why I liked her in the first place. I also liked Casi. Everybody went berserk over Mark, and he was good, but he looks like one of those Johnny one note types who fade as a talent but continue supported by girl voters as the show wears on. The Youngster Quizz is intriguing. Too early for predictions. As you know, the final result is often more about things other than singing.

By the way, this “Deep State” theory of the Trumpites, mocked by Dems and media is actually a truism that has occurred in admins since at least FDR. Congressional aids from ousted parties have always found ways to insert themselves within agencies of any new administration. It is not impossible to believe that “O” loyalists are in there somewhere doing stuff that isn’t helpful. It’s just part of the crap of DC – Dysfunctional Cabal.

San Fran is against The Wall because they basically support people who break the law. I’m against it because I think it is a stupid, expensive idea.

By the way, our Hispanic mayor who would probably love his city of Providence to go totally “Sanctuary”, yesterday compared Hispanic immigrants with the Irish and Italians. He just lost two thirds of the state who truly believe their relatives all came here legally. As have many Hispanics whose reputations are now suspect because of a liberal zealot politician unwilling to acknowledge a difference between honesty and illegality.

Older actresses with massive face improvements look nothing like what I remember when they were young, real people

The current stock market is much too reliant on the decisions and antics of politicians. A healthcare defeat could kill the hope for tax improvement, which could seriously deter market growth. Crazy.

One of my favorite former Senators, Kelley Ayotte, has a good point: “If a guy like Gorsuch can’t get 60 votes then probably nobody can.” RvW combined with new social demands have changed the temperament of SC deliberations more than just about any events in history.

The Parking Lot: Chapter83 continues…
Alex’s heart was beating so loud, he thought for sure they would find him within seconds. He tightened his ball of security. He tried to listen htrough the heart sounds, and did hear the scratching of dirt, stones rolling down the hillside, heavy breathing a lots of cursing. “We should get F---ing overtime and a half.”
“Are we there yet,” Alex heard though gasps for breath.
Maybe he would survive after all. Being rolled up in a ball was having a seriously detrimental effect on his confidence. He decided it was time to face his enemy. At least know where they are so he could make a move, or see what was coming. It was becoming obvious that he could outrun them if he tried. But, it was the bullets he was more concerned with. Somewhere in-between those extremes there was a plan.
He slowly expanded his coiled body and it felt good. He rolled to where his eyes faced the sounds. He saw some silhouettes that seemed about fifteen to twenty yards away. They were together on his left which gave him a clear path to his right. Should he try? Would their deep breathing mask his escape?
He decided that he could run pretty silently. He pulled himself up on hands and toes, ready to spring like a dangerous animal. His left foot pushed him away from his concealed den, and he moved gracefully, avoiding vegetation that would send reports to the ears of the large duo.
He had actual made 40 to 50 feet before he heard. “Did you hear something?”
He stopped and stayed silent. Within seconds, a light beamed tough the bushes his way. Being more concerned about guns, he had overlooked the possibility of flashlights. He dropped flat onto his belly. Now it was perfectly silent, only a light moving slowly in his direction, up and down side to side..

The Answer:
At least they are the top producers of songs for Broadway. #1 for Sondheim is the wonderful “Send in the Clowns”. His other classics are “Broadway Baby”, “Not While I’m Around”, “Not a day Goes By” and “Losing my Mind”. These are considered by one expert as his top Five but there are others like, “Do I hear A Waltz”, “Everything is coming up Roses”, “I feel Pretty” and “I have a Love” from WSS. There are zillions it seems from his magical mind and you probably have many small tune favorites. ALW had lots of people humming his tunes – “Don’t Cry for me Argentina”, “I don’t Know How To Love Him”, “Memory”, “Pie Jesu”“, “Music of the Night”, and “Any dream will do”.

Hey, wait a minute, did I say in the beginning of this mess that it is good to wake up smiling and loving a life, totally disregarding the intrusion of politics? Then why am I writing this.

I think I’ll crawl off and get within myself.
