I'd like to write a poem. 

Something that would touch, 

Words that would stir delight. 

I’d like to draw a picture, 

With thoughts that rhyme. 

That feel like a moonlit night.  

That’s my small goal in life. 

Maybe someday, some time. 

 

I thought that opening skit at the EMMY’s last night was tedious. But I had already decided not to watch it after seeing snippets of the red armpit parade.  

 

I never liked the idea of quarterly reports for corporations because it seemed to put the focus and often the effort on the wrong side of sound business operations, depending on the innate creativity of the top execs. So, I was surprised to read today that Trump is now calling for semiannual reports. -- even though I don't lie Presidential meddling either.  

 

“Transfiguration” by Richad Strauss is one beautiful piec of music.

I keep finding odd apps on my digital devices. I have learned now they are almost always games which I delete. Name the top Moble device games for 2025

Since AI answers appear to be based on accumulated data, its sense of morality will only be based by what it finds in the broader spectrum of human activities. Will it be able to weigh moral judgment against collective human acceptance? 

 

And, AI seems to think that grammar books leave no room for interpretation.

The tendency is for the organizations to behind gambling to say gambling isn't a problem. But FanDuel just paid The NFL Team Jacksonville Jaguars $5 Million to cover part of appropriation of $22 Million by a Jax employee to pay off his debts to Fan Dual. The Jags sued for the entire $22M. The problems of gambling are often muted beneath the momentary smiles of winners. 

 

I find myself turning off sound to TV sports events as the chatter seems to have gotten more intense. Hey, when you go to a game live you can see what's going on without your seat mate describing the action. 

 

The Emmys were better when I actually watched some of the shows.  

 

When you think you’ll lose out if you slow down your life, remember that the Indy 5000 winner makes pit stops.  

 

You have to believe that some of these celebs are embarrassed by those Red Carpet interviews. I like to think of the better side of people. 

 

The drive from here to Narragansett on the Ocean is through wonderfully natural pieces of land. I have to think that developers driving down think this could be a city. And I think, developers could really mess this beautiful space with unimaginative junk. 

 

This week in the NFL proved to me that with the current level of talent no games are over until the very last second.  

 

Just so you know how out of touch I am, I have to ask, who is Sydney Sweeny? ` 

 

In case you haven’t noticed, a couple of “can’t miss” QB’s are missing badly – Arch Manning and Caleb Williams. As one person said, the Manning experiment has put an end to nepotism. And Williams is just the latest of Number One Draft pick flops.

The most popular now are Block Blast, Whiteout Survival, Roblox, Royal Match and Monopoly Go. Beyond eSport games and pure downloaded popualtity there are some critically acclaimed games like Dredge, Genshin Impact, Stardew Valley, Stay the Spire and Dungeon Crawler. And of course, still very popular are enduring favorites – Subway Surfer, Candy Crush and Pokemon Go. I look for questions like this to understand how far out of it I am.
