When they are perhaps the only person to hold a lonely hand as life releases to heaven. Think of the nurses feeling and carrying the emotions for all of the loving families not there. Think of the tears within kind hearts.

She won the Pulitzer for her 1922 novel set it WWI – “One of Ours”.
