Yeaterday was Summer. Today brings us officially the interim season that ends with the beginning of Winter.  It is the last time we see leaves on trees, greens to orange and reds; and feel the breath of a calming breeze before the winds cold, frosty and bold. Yet, Around here it has been an amazing stretch of low temperature beautiful sunny days almost beginning in August. And it looks special ahead, if you can disregard the stores full of Halloween decorations and costumes, and ubiquitous Pumpkin-My mind ce everything.falls bakc to the days of aromas of burnign leavs in the air; watching embers die upon silvery white ashes on a cold late Fall day. Oh yeah, a martini in my hand. 

 

We often see news reports of of humans going to extraordinary lengths to help stranded animals, to free them from traps or raise them from wells and deep pits. But, did you ever see an animal stop for a moment tos ay Thanks before trotting away.

Which brings me to highly touted “Black Rabbit” This movie must have a plot and a lot must be going on and it might have been good if the director didn’t crap it up with unviewable cinematographic gloominess. Yes, If I might have actually seen it through the darkness and purposely blurred images, it may have had me coming back. Too many directors create for other directors.  

 

The NE Pats yesterday were a little like the Tidster – a well-played effort undone by typos.

Vikes smooshing Bengals, Carolina crushing Atlanta; The Cleveland Browns taking down NFL expert's darling of the moment, the Green Bay Packers.  

 

By the way, the Chicago Bears regardless of how they play, just look like football payers always bringing back memories of Nagurski, Ditka, Luckman and Butkus. Maybe someday they’ll get back to their historic winning ways image,   

 

UK and now France joining Canada and Australia in supporting a Palestine State is lot more than just supporting a Palestine state.  

 

Wall Street bubble watchers are agreeing that the AI Bubble may never burst as it adds efficiency to the economy. So my naive observations is how do families live when AI replaces jobs that to day pay very well. Invest in Crypto now? 

 

The Answer: 

Of course, everybody looks forward to the changing leaves. But not raking them. And going on drives to an apple orchard for picking, and sipping cider. Some will get lost in a corn maze of take a hayride. How about finding corn stalks and pumpkins to decorate front porches. And of course, some look forward to a PS Latte. Tailgating and Football is always big. Do they still wear mums and racoon coats? But others will just collect leaves for crafts and many will bake an apple pie. But me, I'm just jumping into a gigantic pile of leaves.
