Today's Tids Issue 5,885
Dreams or Nightmares:
Sometimes lately I feel like there is a gigantic blanket over the United States.
The new American hero is Amanda Anisimova. The rise of Amanda plus the excellent play of Jessica Pegula could give us a Women’s US Open final between Freehold NJ Born Amanda and Buffalo Girl Jessica.
You can always tell when you are driving behind a person who is lost and reacting to GPS. It’s little like politicians.
A Freudian slip is when you say one thing but mean your mother.

The Senate hearings on Fed appointee Stephen Miren will be intense with eyes aplenty watching closely. The Central Banks Independence is now teh main consideration following the firing of Lisa Cook. Miren looked like a reasonable choice who would stand strong against politics permeating the Fed. But now both sides are wondering -- will he uphold the pledge of keeping the Fed Independent. That is what reasonable people will be looking for, and that includes Wall Street bigs.
“Dramatically” could appear in just about every news item today Because there have been changes quite enormous throughout financial and governmental news. But I hate repeating the same adjective. Some synonyms are Breathtaking, Climatic, Emotional, Impressive, Powerful, Melodramatic, Sensational, Startling, Spectacularly are some but none feels just right. I’ll have to work on that. Or just leave out adjectives and let the facts speak for themselves.
High income households won't be at Dollar store to buy their Yachts. Thousands will be in Newport to see the best sailing and motor yachts in world floating on seventeen acres of Harbor waters. Its one of the biggest shows anywhere.
It’s hard to find a good rasot beef sandwich these days. And when you day it tastes twice as good.
There is a terrible Tick generated disease called Alpha-gal Syndrome. It comes from the bite of a poppy seed sized tick called the Texas Star. The reaction within humans can be super painful and even psychological disturbing. Once bitten the body reacts violently to ingesting foods from animals that have hooves i.e. Beef, pigs and sheep. And that includes ice cream made from the milk of beef. And of course, the aphrodisiac of life – butter. The headline I read says the rapidly spreading medical problem may produce a lot more vegans. But I say, Carnivores arise and start eating venison to stop the spread of this deer carried and dispersed tick. This is aserious problem and it is growing as deer populations abound,
I don't like the idea of playing politics with medical decisions and availabilities.
The Answer
U Cal Santa Barbara is Number one. The rest in order are Florida State, Tulane, U SoCal, Wisconsin, Alabama, Syracuse, Georgia, Howard and U of Illinois Urbana. When I was in College I remember Playboy Mag creating a list of top party schools with an asterisk saying, “Lehigh and Cornell are not listed because they are considered Professional.”
Another Quickie today. See you tomorrow.
