A lonely daisy

Today's Tids Issue 5,939

In rippling waves:

I saw it there.

In the frigid air

Gasping For life

As Frost digs deep;

A lonely daisy.

Yet never wilting,

Bright in morning’s sun,

Neath crystal skies

Like the warmth of love

That never dies.

So, apparently RSVP'ing back to a wedding invite "maybe next time” isn't the correct response.

You may have noticed yesterday that odd title Paradigmamics.”. Actually, I had the idea of Paradignamics” which was a combo word indicating change at lightning speed. It was an interesting idea until I learned how to spell Paradigm. The idea there of course is the fact that we are seeing life altering changes happening at what seems like warp speed. Right Scottie? A dynamic reversal of past life's assumptions. Clinging to the past is great for the heart. And it was good, real good. Really good. But younger generations will have to adjust to a world unlike worlds before. It will be hard, but humans are resilient.

Aren’t you glad today isn’t yesterday... the 13Th?

The Question:

In how many states is the Biggest City also the Capital?

Yesterday, I promised you a bit of a romantic Tids today. It's just a good thing to do. A little pleasant mind drifting in a world of cluttered complexities.

Tonight’s college game between Clemson and Louisville may havre been one of the best this weekend if Clemson knew which waw was up. Most of the games i reviewed were big conference names playing out the rest of their schedule for money. And fans will flock to them because that's what fans do on weekends. A couple of interesting games to me are Pitt-Notre Dame and Alabama – Oklahoma.

Let's get this straight – lovable Orcas eat cute little seals. Really who do you root for. Talk about needing to meet in the middle. Humans just play the game differently.

Despite how Kiev, Kyev is reported in news stories I always used Kiev because thats how Mussorgsky spelled it in his Pictures at an Exhibition

I see where the Trumpster is finally getting a dose of reality. News today says he is readying tariff cuts to ease grocery prices. Wasn’t it just two or three days ago when he said high prices are fake news.

Last night the President wined and dined top US bankers. Maybe they tolf him to get real. In a nice way, of course.

According to major business owner Daymond John retail sellers are trying to absorb higher tariff induced costs, knowing that if they don’t customers will fade away. Unfortunately, he says. one fall out from expensive absorption is a need to cut work farces to produce profits steady for investors.

Just in case you missed it, I have been writing about the foolishness of a tariff strategy since it was first mentioned over a decade ago. Rational Free Trade advocates are like that.

I went to a memorial service today at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Amazing place by the way. A good friend was buried this morning. He was one of those guys who saw it all in Viet Nam. He was Captain and he loved the soldiers he led. He talked often about them, the victories and the sadness. And he loved going to his Unit’s reunions, because there is nothing like that bond between men in battle. He also made me laugh and told me what I did wrong wneh my drive went a 100 yards into the woods. That’s what I was thinking as I stood there this morning neath the late autumn sun. American flag waving above.

We are human. We love. And we remember.

The Answer:

The Cities that are the biggest city also the capital in their state are Phoenix, Little Rock, Denver, Atlanta, Honolulu, Boise, Indianapolis, Des Moine, Boston, Jackson, Columbus, Oklahoma City, Providence, Columbia, Salt Lake City, Charleston, and Cheyene. So, the answer is 17. How many of you guessed the states for these cities?

The man who created autocorrect has died, Restaurant in peace.

Have a Great Weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
