One more day.

Today's Tids Issue 6,181

Peculiarities:

Happy November, everybody. Has there ever been a greater need for Thanksgiving than this year. To give thanks for our return to sanity after an overly intensive summer of vicious electioneering. I like November. Turkeys don't. I like  Thanksgiving. I like the smiles. I like overeating. I like falling asleep in front of Football games. Football games. I remember the days in High School when teh Thanksgiving day game was a big deal in my town. Everybody went. Old grads and young students got to mingle. Yeah, November is a lot about Thanksgiving. It's about standing on my parents porch waiting for out-of-town relatives to drive up and remembering that great feeling when they did. Yes, if all the T-Days were blurred together into a bg blob, that blob would be one gigantic smile. November is great if you can avoid watching or listening to Christmas advertising.

Today is the last day for tricks, Will there be any treats after tomorrow?

Friday was AI reckoning day. Today is screw caution day...I don't want to miss out on the big bonanza when it comes. I'm being a little dramatic, but the swings from despair to elation are pretty adventurous. That's why Apple is relative safe in light of the AI sell-off as a hedge against AI madness gone awry. Apple reports earnings this week. That ill be interesting and impotant. The real point of this Tidlet which seems in-between opposing opinions, is actually reflecting opposing views of various experts on the street. We have gone from the beginning of a boom to build an improvable force that may be of the highest risk ever, but it may just tbe a future that is too big to fail even now in its infancy.  But, don't tell Claude – it may be planning a hostile takeover

Q: If there’s H2O on the inside of a fire hydrant, what’s on the outside? A: K9P

The Question:

Who do you think are the 5 most popular male and female movie stars today. Hint. It is not Cary Grant and Grace Kelley.

The Headlines:

I think the people are closer than the national divide would suggest. That gap though may never be closed because the people in charge need it to stay in power. It's unfortunate.

It's starting to look as though the best college football teams money can buy, aren't.

Just think... today the political commercials end and tomorrow the personal injury lawyer commercials begin. What a great country we live in.

Have judges ever been busier than they have been in the past two years.

The Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazulla uses Anthropic's Claude as matter-of-fact tool in practice and game planning. Whatever happened to good old intuition and hunches. Sometimes eyes see what statistics don't.

Signs are already appearing here that say this could be the biggest food thanksgiving ever for this family.

With 70-yard field goal kickers becoming the new norm, no game is safe anymore. And, that is in college and pro.

If you read all the polls and all the opinions about polls, it is really looking like the elections are too close to call. From this point of view, the Repubs could eke out the Senate and lose the house. Get ready for EO's aplenty with not enough Dem majority to override vetoes. But, in reality, gridlock has often been good for society.

It's starting to look like the those who scout high school football p[ayers are not that great, but the kids publicity agents are.

I can't think of anythjng more to say about the elections  except that if the Dems do regain power they'll spend too much time trying to do stuff against Trump instead of doing something for the people. Remember the people.

The various news outlets routinely break stories of two celebrities getting married. There's got to be more indepth to society than that.

The everyman steak houses like Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse have figured out how to b put out pretty tasty dishes without the need of customers driving up in an armored car full of cash.

Argon walks into a bar, the bartender says “We don’t serve nobles gasses here.” Argon doesn’t react.

The Answer:

The men are Tomothee Chalomet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Holland, Ryan Gosling, Dwayne Johnson. I thought Matt Damon would be there. Of the women it is Zendaya, Margot Robbie, Sydney Sweeny, Emma Stone and Jenna Ortega. Maybe the new Hunger Games will give Jennifer Lawrence a boost.

I just have to play this.
