Reading between the Lines Movie Reviews:
--Burlesque is getting all the hype, and may even be very entertaining, that is if you disregard a very predictable plot. Christina Aquilera plays your basic Midwestern small town looking for fame. Cher owns a Burlesque house on the verge of bankruptcy. Small town Tess is cocktail waitress who finds her way to the stage where her big voice draws big crowds thus saving the club. It is what it is. It can't bebabd.
--Faster is stereotypical revenge pick with little heart. Guy gets out of Prison and goes after those who killed his Bro. Everything about this picture seems small.
--Love & Other Drugs is a very sexy comedy about a free spirit, resolute girl who who lets nothing stop her until she meets relentless and nearly infallible charming guy. These two Prescription drug salespeople get addicted to love.
Yup...Thanksgiving is the best holiday alright.
I think I'll take a nap. Full Tids back on Monday.
