Phil Donahue Died yesterday and was known for the being the guy who gave depth to talk show TV. Albeit, from the liberal side. What the top ten  TV Talk shows? 

 

The Headline's:

--Biden Stars at his Farewell DNC Affair; Obama to Speak Tonight. 

--Divers Looking for Missing in Super Yacht Sinking: Lynch -- “Bill Gates of England” and Daughter, Bloomer -- Chairman Morgan Stankey International and Wife among those Named. 

 

The Sailboat sinking was odd indeed. I83 foot yachts built for extreme sea conditions don’t sink easily. Were they sailing? Or motoring without time to turn up wind because of the sudden strike. Or most likely was it a Waterspout., a sea tornado. That seems like it to me.  

 

Life was simpler back in the so-called old days because you didn't have fifty different soft drink choices. How do you actually pick from aisles of myriad graphically designed bottles that look similar. I'll tell you how... cheapest. 

 

Forcing kids to do sit-ups is child ab use. 

 

The problem with socialism is that it sounds good to too many people... until they have to live with it.  

 

What I'm voting for this year is gridlock. We certainly didn't need executive orders, and I suggest that we already have all the laws we will ever need. Somewhere in all those laws on the books, there are phrases that take care of every possible human need.  

 

Executive Orders are unAmerican. 

 

If Donald Trump wasn't representing Danald Trump in the campaign, he could win in a landslide. 

 

I was knocked down sailing between Block Island and Mystic Connecticut. We three managed to survive, but it was harrowing. It was a nice windy day, but controllable until a maverick squall came out of nowhere. WE went from knockdown and pushed out to sea to becalming for hours (No Motor). Later in the dark of night we were picking our way through a mooring field to a safe harbor. That was the hard part. 

 

Bad gardeners are rough around the hedges. 

 

Which is worse – An interview with a politician, Athlete or celebrity? 

 

I'm not going to, but if I did listen to Obama tonight, I’d probably get an inkling of what Kamala will talk about Thursday.

Number one is the Kelly Clarkson Show. Hey, I just report the lists. Next is Oprah followed by Phil Donahue. The Rest are Steve Harvy, Drew Barrymore, Kelly and Ryan, Ellen D, Jennifer Hudson and Good Morning America. 

 

Waiters really bring a lot to the table.
