The Answer:
In 1969 Peter Green formed the classic band that first included Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwin, Bob Welsh, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. When Green left in 1970 Christie McVie, John’s wife joined. By 1974, Welsh, Spencer and Kirwin had departed. In scouting for members they found an American folk twosome called NicksBuckingham. They invited Buckingham but he said he wouldn't join without Nicks and the rest is history. Nicks new tour is a tribute to sadly deceased Christie and an ailing Buckingham. And of course the rest of the group. The music world was hoping for a Lindsey/Stevie tour.
Weekends are good for dreams. Stevie kicked off her tour in Brooklyn with that song.
