It’s getting much too deep.

Today's Tids Issue 3,156
Opening Stuff:

Have you ever wondered why people insist on putting TV remotes back up by the TV instead of next to the chair or couch where it is used?

0-Man continues to back away from former statements where he generously patted himself on the back. He’s now saying it’s Bush’s fault there are no troops in Iraq as opposed to what in 2011 he lauded himself about, “Removing all troops as promised in 2008”. In the debates he said Romney was wrong for wanting to keep troops in  Iraq. He said “he told the American public he didn’t want any troops in Iraq”. But today, after having missed the ISIS buildup for about a year, he’s denying, as usual, any involvement missteps that might have fueled the advance of the marauding, massacring ISIS. How can you trust a guy like this? Impossible. Fore!

A local wag who says he’s he receiving Tweets and emails criticizing him for calling the rioters in Missouri “Looters”, has now gone to the PC side calling them “Undocumented Shoppers”.

The Question:
What are the top ten must have Android apps? Iphone?

Lauren Bacall was a pure classic. She had the face, the voice and…the look.

The six “Mates” of Bergdahl are attempting to publish a book on the desertion of their former military partner. The problem is that so many of the publishers are Obama rump-swabs that the six are finding problems getting out the true story. For instance, Sarah Durand, a senior Editor of at a Simon & Schuster division says, “I’m not sure we can publish the book without the Right using it to their ends” (Like getting to the truth). The six former bunkroom mates of Bergdahl say they aren’t politicizing this at all.  It was politicized when “O” brought the parents to the White House and called their son a ”Hero”. The six affirm that he is not a hero, and all we want is the world to know what he really was.

Our President was heard on the beach at Martha’s Vineyard exclaiming, “Yikes, this water is too cold”.  There goes his global warming Nobel.

Quite a while back the Tids Economic editor warned of declining wages as more an more countries go global. The lowest wage countries become the arbiter of wage levels as jobs flow to least costly production centers. Countries like USA will attempt to keep standards higher with arbitrary wage hikes mandated by government, but the associated decline in average value added will eventually force those wages down. We can “want”, but you have to produce to “get”.

I just read one of those Obits that made you want to know the person who had just died. In it this 89 year old woman who loved sailing til the end, was described as having “Slipped her mooring”.

Is “smart” finally overtaking unlimited bank accounts as the guiding principle in successful baseball team management? Let’s hope so because it will be better in the long run for all. In the past KC, which just jumped past mighty Detroit into First pace in the Central A, use to send all of their hot young players to that dreaded team in the Bronx. The sons of Steinbrenner seem to be proving that dad had the brains in the family.as the Ya-ya- ya struggle.. Now there are solid brains everywhere including in Oakland which is also in first place mainly because of sound thinking over big spending. Parity is essential to all organized sports. I’m happy to see smiling fans in the great Town of Kansas City. But as the songs asks, “Have they gone as far as they can go?”  Stay tuned.

I see more and more people on TV and in small gatherings saying with a pretentious grin on their faces, “Organic Vegetables.  I can’t stand it. Today eating organic must be the
