Today's Tids Issue 3,222
Opening Stuff:
So, a reporter asks
the President why he is so intent on giving amnesty to millions of
illegals. Mr. Obama replies, ”So they will do what Americans won’t do”. “And what is that?”
asks the reporter. “Vote for Democrats.”
According to reports,
that baseball player Giancarlo Stanton of the Florida Marlins is about to sign
a $300 million contract for ten years. I said baseball, not cancer research.
Nancy Pelosi says
she doesn’t know Obama Care Architect Gruber. That’s because she never read the
bill! If she had she would have seen his name! But, wait a minute. In 2009,
Nancy’s office cited Jonathon Gruber extensively when trying to support the
innocuous bill with her “Myth Buster” series of press releases. Gruber was her unqualified
expert, and quoted often to the pet media! Get rid of them all.
The Question:
The titillating entertainment news this morning is that the
trailer for “50 Shades of Grey” is available and out there for viewing. Name five

You can bet that the
TV and radio talk shows will have a lot to say about immigration between now
and January. What bothers me most in the discussion is the use of the word “Immigrant”
instead of “Thief”. Elevating the lawbreakers to the exalted state of Immigrant,
which has been defined nobly by the millions who came here the past several 100’s
of years; the millions came and built and defended the country. Almost every
one of them doing it without asking for handouts.
$420 Million In US
weapons and sensitive systems are missing in Afghanistan. What better way
to build an effective Jihad than to have the US invade a Muslim country.
“Missing in Afghanistan”
sounds like a Mel Brooks movie.
And the beat Goes On
Department:
A Texas school, South Arbor Charter Academy, had a “Heroes
Wall” that honored Space Shuttle Columbia Astronauts, Mother Teresa, Betsy Ross
and Albert Einstein. The Principal had the murals of those greats replaced with
Oprah, Obama. Maya, Walt Disney and JK Rowling.
What I got out of the
highly acclaimed movie “Birdman (And Oscar vehicle For Michael Keaton) is
that I’m glad I never had to associate with actors.
Yesterday’s question
was about words Time Mag would ban for 2015. I would ban for life the
blatant use of the words that serve no purpose, F--- and S--- in school
hallways, crowded streets, movies and TV. They just make people look stupid and
inadequate, and society in general uncivilized.
Reading Between The
Lines Movie reviews:
--Speaking of down grading society, Dumb and Dumber returns
with the suffix “II”. It uses all of the
inane antics of the original D&D as invented by the creative (And Rhode
Island) Ferrelly brothers with the same actors starring Jim Carey and Jeff
Daniels, and adding Jim Riggles (Who never makes me laugh as the new Fox NFL
Comedian). The boys go on the road again after newly discovered daughter of
Harry. It is pretty much the same as the first edition. Viewers have rated it
about a 75% good.
The Answer:
What first came to this mind was the Color Purple. But then
I thought of the old classic western, Red River. But, how about these winners –
The Hunt for the Red October, A Clockwork Orange, Crimson Tide, Black Beauty,
Pink Panther, Little Black Book, The Green mile, The Scarlet Letter, The Brown
Bunny, Fried green Tomatoes or Pretty in Pink.

See ya Monday.
