Today's Tids Issue

For giving an inch or two along the way:
When
the stock market soars, college endowment funds have more money
to give to needy students, public employee retirement funds are safer, states, cities
and towns fiancées stabilize. A very small percentage of Americans make huge
amounts of money for taking risks that produce. But, in reality 100 % live better
in a more stable financial environment. We have this political BS that tends to
dwell on negative for party gains, forgetting that it is always a combination of
ideas and ideals that is necessary for great countries to operate for all.
I
think that Oprah is peaking too early.
Scientists
try to achieve new developments, and one of the
biggest problems has always been coming up with a formula that balances negatives
with positives. When developing a new plastic for instance, if you are looking
for clarity, the you may have to give up some strength, flexibility, elasticity
or FDA approval characteristics. In other words, developing the perfect outcome
is always matter of tweaking the whole. Fortunately, political activists don’t
make plastics.
People
who read the Tids on worldviewetc.blogspot.com are
less likely to see typos. Sorry about a couple of deplorable typo messes
yesterday. I hate myself for that…for a minute or two.
In
addition to Typos, I sent out yesterday’s Tids with today’s
Date! But, it is much too early to lock me away.

I
have never been a big fan of having the Giant “Swoosh”
or the UnderArmor thing spread across my clothing. The big logo phenomena could
change with the fast-growing Jacques minimalist workout gear. No logos, subdued
colors are its claim to fame in addition to outstanding super tech fabrics. Unfortunately,
after wearing logos, working out is number 2 on my dislike list.
BTW,
being an old advertising/publishing guy, I always made money by displaying ads
for corporate symbols and messages. So, wearing logos for free was against my
inner soul.
The
very best, most delicious bacon scone can be found
at Fresh Market on Washington Square in Newport Rhode Island – just in case you
are driving by some day.
As
old Satchel Paige said famously, “Don’t look back, something
may be gaining on you.” Never has the threat of being caught been more serious than
today when it appears that technology can change races for market domination in
a nano-second. Latest to be looking over their shoulders are the rapidly expanding
drugstore companies like CVS and Walgreens. The noise that has them rattled is that
Amazon has been talking to Federal Regulators. And, drug makers are looking for
better ways to distribute. This will be interesting to watch.
Over
the years I tired of Robert DiNiro films where the acclaimed
actor seemed to have trouble getting beyond being DiNiro. Now he has become
particularly annoying as an ill-informed spokesperson for the left a truly smug
chortler.
In
case you missed it Robert, the unemployment for those
Americans without a college degree fell from 5.1% to 4.2% in the year ending December
31. 2017. In addition, in the last year over 600,000 of those Americans forced
to work at part-time jobs have found full time employment at better wages. In
other words, beyond the Tweets, something is working…well.
The
Answer:
Some would say that the UN itself should be
Ill-Fated, but before that the post WWI League of Nations was a total disaster.
Bonus: Suiss National Bank beats out
super profitable Apple by a healthy margin for the top spot in big profitability.
Super Bonus. Samsung lays out $44
Billion in capital expenditures, far outdistancing traditional big spenders
Shell and Exxon. You can see why Apple is always looking over its shoulder… and
why SK is negotiating with NK for peace at the border.
My heart is starting to pound a bit as I look
forward to the NE Pats Playoff game against Tennessee on Saturday night. Maybe
that’s why I had so many typos yesterday.
Maybe It’s more than a feeling By Boston:
