I listened to President Joe speak and I realize once again I just can’t endure Presidential speeches. Isn’t that a crying shame? That includes, Trump the incoherent, Obama the con man, Bush the cloudy, Clinton the insincere. I liked GHW Bush #1 because he didn’t’ speak often. But now a days, I don’t think that the leaders of the free world have much more to say than some of my good friends, Dem or Repub.
I have never felt that the final movement of Schubert’s “The Great” 9th Symphony was really as good as it could have been. I think if Franz S had asked Johann, Brahms could have tweaked it nicely for him.
Isn’t it interesting how the mind can create traumas when there is no trauma to begin with? Think of the energy lost. Hmmm, I do it all the time.

Buying on line is surely efficient, and a lot of these this and that delivery services must serve some purpose. Why else would their stocks be so high? But frankly, I like to do errands, get out of the house even with a mini purpose – pick up my own pizza, my own drugs, my own groceries. my own Chinese food. Actually, when you look around at many of these ho new App stocks that are flying high, many are replacing something I always enjoyed doing myself. Not that I count in this ongoing era of paradigm change.
Are the big social media companies begging to look like they are on their way to be bigger than the government. I never thought love to say, maybe the government is better than something.
In the back of my mind I’m thinking Trump was most anxious to stay as Prez to forestall possible prosecution for various alleged criminal actions now under investigation upon return as regular citizen.
After Joe B went on and on Friday introducing new Department Secretaries, I got to listen to Gina Raimondo, new Commerce Secretary nominee, and our Governor here. Now that was a laugh riot in itself. She was introduced as the person who would focus on the needs of the little guys the restaurant industry. Which is exactly what she didn’t do here. She took the first $1.2 bil Stimulus money and used convolutes reasoning to refuse to deliver it rapidly to those in desperate need. In fact, it was said Friday that small business and restaurant/entertainment industry leaders were heard applauding when the news broke that She was leaving and small biz advocate LT. Gov Dan McKee was taking over. McKee was steadfast in his determination to get The Gov to start spending where it was needed. (She never answered his pleas), And then JB talked about Gina knowing how to bring in business and grow jobs. Lemmie see, in 2019 RI in 2109 was rated least likely state to which businesses would move. It has certainly been in the bottom five over her years in power. Sorry for this longish Tidlet, but it irked me listening to the Gibberish at that ceremony Friday, when you sit there knowing the rest of the story.

While masked Antifa stormed city damaging neighborhoods and stores. Politics has become pure unadulterated BS. I’m dropping out.
When a women says “what”? It’s not because she doesn’t hear you. She’s giving you a chance to change your mind.
As I mentioned a Tids issue or two ago, the biggest problem in America is holding grudges, getting even. It is a cycle we are in, and it is going to take a lot of honest love and understanding to break it. I don’t know with Social Media hovering over everything, if it is even possible.
Do you know what irks me? It is the demeaning criticism of historic actions past, based on comparison to today’s norms and advanced technology opportunities. Versus the reality of what it was like in society minus basic things like electricity and plumbing.
The unifying Dems are using the terrible Capitol building invasion to hurl negative epithets at all good and honest and loving republicans. Yeah, that will bring us together. Unity, schmoonity. Actually, I think the majority of Americas are unified to some degree, except for politicians and their acolytes.
The Answer:
January 23 is most unique because it is the only date of the 365 that has three consecutive numbers succession – 1,2,3! I’m sure it is unique fur many other good reasons too. Bonus: The six deciduous trees are Maple, Ash, Oak Beech, White Birch and Poplar (Aspen). Of the needle and Cone trees we have the Pine (White Pine most common), Hemlock, Balsam Fir, Cedar, Spruce and Larch (the Larch Loses needles in Winter, But not Cones.).
Sorry I got too political today, but the hypocrisy is driving me crazy. Too many people on both sides are making excuses for things that never should be happening. Where’s the kindness? That’s what I’m looking for.
