Well, today is the day when all the ills of the past year just disappear. And all of the good you experienced last year just continues to get better. So that’s good news. No bad, all good. No fake news forms the Tids.

 

If I ever die it will be from tripping over my shoe strings. Which I hear is an embarrassing way to go.

 

The Caterpillar does all the work but the butterfly gets all the publicity. The Tids never forgets the caterpillars.

 

Now we all begin the annual Two-week saga of trying to determine where the stock market will go for the year. Some say, the first ten days of January says it all.  Well, maybe before computers it did.

Some really good College football games on today with Clemson against Ohio State and Alabama against Notre Dame. I’m also quite interested to see how undefeated Cincinnati fares against SEC’s Georgia. That game could answer some of the arguments over the ranking system.

The Vaccine is just another excuse for sub-human beings to take advantage of honest, trusting people.

 

I think a lot of people feel that people who have a lot should right neo be giving more for people whose financial situation has been obliterated by Covid. And the people wo feel that mostly includes people who have.

How about those NYC bicycle riding kids attacking uncivilized vengeance cars just driving down main Thorofare’s of the city. If the police were allowed to crack down by the Mayor, and one of these criminals were injured, the media would go overboard targeting the police as the menace.  That is one of the sad parts of the world we live in. Political correctness has removed the truth from the conversation.

 

I think I’ll go out for a walk and find some new material for Monday.

The Best Cocktails ever mixed according to the votes of 34.6K average people are #1 Margarita then Old fashioned, Mojito, Screwdriver, Daiquiri, Pina Colada, Rum& Coke, Whisky Sour, Gin & Tonic and Long Island Iced Tea. Hmmm my favorite was always a Martini without vermouth and the great Stinger! Martini is 12, Manhattan is 17, Bloody Mary 19, Irish Coffee 23, Vodka Tonic 31 (Gin & Tonic #9 is infinitely better) and #34Gimlet (Another favorite of Mine). My Favorite killer drink The Stinger – Brandy and White Creme de Menthe -- is not on the list. T Yikes! At #21 I found one I hadn’t heard of, “Sex on the Beach made from Vodka Peach Schnapps, Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice. There is also another version called sex in the driveway, and one with no liquor called safe sex on the beach, and another called Cuddles on the beach.
