Today's Tids Issue 5,362
Forget the nonsense, just for a moment:
How bad could Steve Scalise have been for the Trumpy Repubs in Congress? By not coming together they are ceding their meager majority to Dems. Pure and simple. I'm glad they aren’t running US business.
Noah kept the bees in the Archive.
I hate to start the Tids being mad at the ineptitude of the ego corrupted Repubs.
Especially on a Friday when the problems of the week can take a hiatus for a couple of days. What a great time of year not to worry about minutia. To enjoy the crispness in the air and the colors that abound around us. Where oceans sparkle as the roar and lakes glimmer like Waterford. There is no better time. Really!
If you get into a car accident and your guitar is destroyed, it is a Fender bender.
I never get tired of listening to the music of Les Miz.
The Question:
Name the 5 house Speakers with the longs terms.

College students will take sides to protest anything. I don't listen to them. But the media rushes in and masses of people latch onto minimal truths with limited understanding of what they are saying... and only add to the divide.
The Kansas City chiefs don’t seem quite as magical this year... even with Taylor going manic the booth.
!954 was the year that USA added “Under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance. It was also the year of “Operation Wetback” which sent back ot Mexico 4 million illegal immigrants. How familiar. It was the year that also saw the censure of Joe McCarthy and the Supreme Court ruled on Brown vs The Board of Education stating that segregation in public schools is unconstitutional. Ike signed a better SS act that had employees and employers contributing to the pot. We were still testing H-Bombs on Bikini atoll. But on the Hi Tech breakthrough front, Swanson delivered the first frozen TV dinner. Dining Room Table Manufacture Stocks plunged. Roger Bannister broke the 4-minute mile. “Father knows Best” was abig TV hit and top movies were “On the Waterfront” and the “Wild One”, both Starring the hot actor Marlon Brando. A movie that delivered a tough Message was “Blackboard Jungle”, but it also gave us Bill Haley singing “Rock around the Clock”. One of the great new trends in our society was DIY. Yes, people started doing things around the house by themselves. Except for my dad. In reality, DIY was a nostalgic tip of the three-cornered hat to all those colonial families of yore facing never ending chores. A movie ticket was 70 cents and a new car $1,700. Inflation was at 0.32 %. The Tonight show with Steve Martin hit the screens, Joe Demaggio Married Marilyn Monroe. Other big movies were “The Glenn Miller Story”, Caine Mutiny and White Christmas. Hot singers were Doris Day (My secret love), Rosemary Clooney and Eddie Fisher. Eddie never got over his divorce by Elizabeth Taylor who had stolen him away from Debbie Reynolds. Taffeta Dresses for Women and Houndstooth sports jackets for men were in. I was becoming very tweedy.
What do you think the chances of naming a government immigration policy “Operation Wetback” and getting away with it o in today's woke environment. It would probably create an entire TV miniseries to discuss it. Remember simplicity.
There are a few decent college games this weekend among the what seems like hundreds on TV. Which BTW, at times eliminates all evening news. And Saturday Wheel of Fortune. The top 25 are playing but there are only a few worth watching. Certainly not Florida State against Syracuse or Penn State and U Massachusetts. But Notre Dane versus USC is a classic and should be very good this year. Alabama against Arkansas could be good and North Carolina against Miam could be the best of the year in the ACC.
Why do chicken coops have only two doors? If they had four, they would be chicken sedans.
The Answer:
