Chugging along

Today's Tids Issue 5,875

Not what you see:

One thing we know is that the arrival social media lured regular people into pouring out their souls to strangers. That always seemed odd to me. But not nearly as odd as the great new digital trendcreating and talking to AI friends on a daily basis. Where in hell are we going with all this.

I remember as a kid looking forward to hurricanes passing by in the ocean with the promise of more exciting swimming. It's amazing we of the older generations are still alive.

Every time I feel a mental collapse coming on, I read Stephen Wright jokes. That’s good for the tids because he is weirdish. And it helps me create an edge.

The Question:

While the digital era has provided phenomenal advances, the Refrigerator remains truly one of the most important inventions for humans. But humans may overuse it. Name 8 products that don’t really need refrigeration.

The Headlines:

--Nasdaq falling again. Dow Hanging in there as Experts Wonder, “What message is the market sending us?; Target Missteps Again; TJX Ok; Street Awaits Walmart results Tomorrow.

--Israel Calls Up 60,000 reservists ahead of Next Steo in Gaza strategy.

--Rrump Ups Attacks on Fed; Says Governor Lisa Cook Should Resign; Cites Unconfirmed Charges of Mortgage fraud.

Trump has ordered Kristy to paint the southern wall black so it gets hotter under the southwest sun making it even more difficult to climb. The Dems are shouting that will increase global warming, Or is that Climb-it change

Did you ever think you were creative until you started hanging around with creative people? Then you learned about the right side of the brain.

Actually, the right hemisphere for artistic creativity is entering myth territory as new evidence is suggesting that creativity in most cases is a whole brain exercise. In simple terms creativity draws from experience in the left hemisphere while it delves into new territory using the right side.

Spell-Check is a left-brain operation as it doesn't have clue about unknown connections. I reality, it operates in a vacuum.

Our favorite TPL writes to tell us he now a has an emotional support animal. A pig. Well not quite a pig. Ok, it’s bacon. I told you he was smart.

Ceding the rest of the Donetsk to Russia region by Ukraine is not about losing or gaining more land. It's about preserving a fortress that hinders Russian movements West. It is not about just give over a little bit of land for peace.

I just read where Trump is thinking of persecuting states that have laws that hurt the economy. Wow, he just declared war in Little Old Rhode Island.

By the way, RI has just been named one of top states serving the best lunches to school kids. Well, that proves one thing -- Good lunches don't contribute to better learning

“I gave my dog contact lenses. They had little pictures of cats painted on them. Then I took one of them out and he ran around in circles.”  --Stephen Wright

RI made the big-time news circuit this week. Yes, a nice popualr Newport restaurant called to police for help in removing a woman and and her friend. “Just get them out of here,” a restaurant employee pleaded. The police arrived and said gently, lets just do this the easy way. She wouldnt hear of it. She then played the “don't you know who I am cardshouting I am an assistant AG, I’m an AG at least 8 times. They took her away in cuffs.: It appears she is getting no sympathy from the public.

“I ran a stop sign, and a cop stopped me. He said `Didn't you see that stop sign?' I said, `Yeah, but I don't believe everything I read." --Stephen Wright

I don’t tell people my plans because I hate te to be put in boxes.

The Answer:

Number one is Cucumbers followed by Hot Sauce (Except varieties using fomented fruits), Potatoes, Basel, Ketchup, Tomatoes, Coffee Beans and Avocados. I don't eat of that and Ican’t afford a coffee grinder. So I don't have to make a decision.

I need a little country today.
