There’s always.

Today's Tids Issue 5,964

Look up:

There are lots of doomsday messages out there. No, I'm not talking about nuclear destruction. Assorted experts have been predicting an economic meltdown due to the credit crunch catching up with too many all at once, or a housing meltdown. Or a civil war because Americans are so far apart. Things like that. But there is some kind of innate resiliency or a human determination to always find a way to revert back to normalcy that gets us beyond dire predictions. Juat an observation as my mind wakes up to another day

When I have nothing to do, I’m completely happy.

Many people and especially women are betwixt and between now that Trump has come out against the current spending rampage on college football at the expense of women’s sports and other minor college athletic activities. Yeah, I hear them reluctantly saying, he got that right. Except of course, alum of big football factories.

Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint.” --Mark Twain.

The Question:

Loni Anderson who died yesterday at 80 yo gained her fame as the receptionist on the very funny TV program WKRP in Cincinnati. Name five other characters on that great show.

I was happy to see Cameron Young win that Whinham Tourney yesterday He was PGA rookie of the year a couple of years ago and has had seven second place finishes, two 3rd's, 13 in the top 5 and 253 in the top ten. And never won. On Sunday he did. Will that mark the beginning of his dominance on tourI don't think Scottie is worried.

Un-Lumpingwas a title of tids yesterday and was to represent my eternal battle not to be classified. Lumping people together is a national trend, and not a good one. I spend my time trying to make their statistics look infected Remember one thing always – we are us.

Thank God perseverance is a great substitute for talent.” -- Syeve Marting.

Perseverance has been very rewarding for Steve's unfunny buddy Martin Short.

The trouble with lot of Netflix American movies is that they all look like a bad, glitzy reality show.

There should be a service in towns that at the end of the day goes around to goodies retailers like bakeries and picks up all unsold products for food banks.

Does Kamala Harris saying nay opt a California Governor run mean she is saying yay to a 2028 Presidential run? In 2024 she was a last-minute substitution. That doesn't mean she is better than a host of other Dem possibilities

Have you noticed how many politicians or other prominent men are only seen with their wive safter they are indicted.?

The Answer:

Each character had a way to make you laugh; Loni played the receptionist Jan Marlow, the stations highest paid employee. You remember the others: Andy Travis (Gary Sandy), Johnny Fever (Howard Hessman), Arther Carlson (Gordon Jump), Venus Flytrap (Tim Ried), Baily Quarters (Jan Smithers), Les Nessman (Richard Sanders) and good ole’ Herb Tarlek (Frank Bonner.)

Here's my thought for the day

Everything can always find a way;
