Today's Tids Issue 3,168
Opening Stuff:
The military is
the only part of Government that makes sense to me. Everything they do is something
for the people all of the time. They work hard. And for the most part they are
quite honorable, representing our values of hard work and integrity well. I’d
say that just about everything else we need could be done quite easily by the
states, with maybe a few hundred Federal employees helping out to maximize
interstate expenditure efficiency.
Developers gotta
develop and builders gotta build, regardless whether we need it or not. Can
you say eyesore and waste?
The world becomes
so much clearer when you take off your sunglasses.
The Question:
Name the top 7 car brands on the “Most Satisfied Customer”
list; “Least Satisfied”. Bonus: While
on “Like/Dislike”, what do you think are the three most disliked industries in
America?

I was in a shop
yesterday when I commented aloud, “They have a lot of women’s tops (shirts) in
here. A woman standing nearby said, “Those aren’t tops, they’re dresses.”
Yikes!
In case you missed
it, Bobby Jindal is expected to sue the Feds over Common Core. I think this
is a very good action as the libs are using Common Core as a vehicle to take
over state school curriculums. This is of course a severe violation of the State
Sovereignty clause in the Constitution, and also federal laws that prohibit
national control of education content. Controlling the minds of young people is
exactly what a free, democratic country does not want from its government.
In a separate potential
constitutional bending administration move, Obama is expected to make an end run
around congress to achieve an international agreement on some Climate crap. Treaty
making is strictly relegated by the constitution to the US Senate and not the executive
branch. You know, some in the media will say that the Prez has to make these
moves because Congress is blocking some of his proposed law and program efforts.
But then, isn’t that the purpose of our checks and balances government
structure – to block stupidity, and
threats against the constitution?
Eboola is a
terrible attitude disorder that strikes students at Yale.
Some golfers spend
way too much time marking their ball on the greens.
In England,
Muslim pedophiles were allowed to continue their abuse of children, unmolested by
police, because British authorities felt that arresting them might be considered
racist! God help us.
Go Figure,
Department:
Labor Day was the creation of the labor movement to honor
economic and social achievement and be a National tribute to the contributions
American workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well being of the
country. Now most of the people in unions are employed by the government. So,
do we abandon Labor Day?
The Answer:
The most satisfied consumers own Mercedes. Next is Subaru
which is followed by Lexus, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda and Buick. Topping the “Least
Satisfied” list is Acura. The next six are Dodge, Jeep, Audi, Mazda, BMW and Cadillac.
The satisfaction percenates aren’t that very far apart, with Mercedes having a
86% happiness value and Acura a 77%. Bonus: USA’ers hate the Internet industry
the most. That is closely followed by Cable TV and then Airlines.
Happy “Get-it-off-your-chest”
Day. I feel better.
See you tomorrow!
I can hardly wait.
