Tids for Summer Heat:
Tids are good for summer heat because they are so cool!
People
are fascinated by the long suspension bridges over water. Around
here and in other places like San Fran or NYC, a “view of the bridge” seems
awfully special. I’m thinking that it is more than the physical appearance of the
structure. It is one person’s appreciation of the talents of their fellow man.
For the confidence people have in other people to keep them safe. They don’t really
understand the physics of the structure, but they have faith in the intelligence
of others. Faith. It is a wonderful thing to have.
Happy
Summer, everybody. Time to go out and unpack your winter
fleece, because beginning tomorrow the days get shorter on their way to
December’s early darkness.
Donald
Trump keeps on repeating that he was won over 14,000,000
votes. That would be great if he had the assurance of all Republicans hanging together
to support him. He needs about 70 million to beat the Hill (And assure the next
Supreme Court choice), 56 mil more than he has received. He’s not getting the black
vote and the more he speaks it appears that the Hispanic and women’s support
will be minimal (Although there are many Hispanics who hate the idea of illegal
immigrants). He still doesn’t have grassroots, state by state organizations and
he says he shunning advertising. PR is great, but advertising allows you to
control your own message as opposed to all of the editors who seem to dislike
him. He needs advertising that enhances his character and dismisses
discrepancies without the usual braggadocio, which was cute once upon a time in
this fairy tale.. O yeah, and the Hillary machine has just announced a $44
million dollar ad effort to further denigrate Trumperino. Energized groups can
hoot and holler, but politics is still a science. And, he needs a science that
can build bridges.
A
heart is always getting overly involved, and I always thought
it was a just supposed to pump blood.
Zowie.
In fact – double Zowie! I’m sitting here this morning
shedding smiley tears for all of those great people in Cleveland. King James
rose to the occasion as did Love and Irving, and the rest of the team players.
A championship for Cleveland, Yikes! See, Repubs are good luck.
The

The
word is out in the netherworld that Biden is still
being groomed for a quick entry into the race if the Hill is handcuffed. They
are keeping his visibility high, and supposedly the Super and other delegates have
been talked to about a fast switcharoo to VP Joe. Which of course, would drive
the Bernie supporters insane. But, this is just one more odd scenario in this
weirdest of all election years.
Climate
change mania may actually have some good attributes.
It appears that major environmental groups like Sierra Club and Environmental
defense fund are finding it hard to ignore nuclear power, which emits
absolutely no Greenhouse Gases, as a key alternative energy source as they try
to force the power industry to eliminate gas and coal. It seems that even the
most radical of anti coal and gas groups can’t put all of their eggs in the inefficient
wind and sun power alternatives. Nuke has always been the most efficient and cleanest
choice. It just has a scary word that the libs have capitalized on.
Some
of the finest communities deteriorate rapidly when
over organized.
I
was thinking of what could have been one of the
oddest potential presidential races ever: The Personal Injury Lawyer John
Edwards versus the casino bankruptcy artist Donald Trump. How crazy would that
be! I guess just as crazy as what we have with Donald against Benghazi Hillary
Verizon
is running commercials for something called HUM. It is
basically a tracking device for cars which people can use to monitor people
they don’t trust. It’s another of those we got the technology, let’s use it.
Who cares if it is “Big Brother” at its worst? It won’t be humming on my car.
The
Cavs came out of Cleveland and rose up to beat the
media darlings, Golden State. Let’s hope the same thing happens to the Repub candidate
leaving Cleveland to beat another media darling!
How
great a chance do you think it is that the USAG would
indict the person her boss just endorsed for President?
And
how crazy was that move by the USGA to indict the credibility
of Dustin Johnson for the last 6 crucial holes.
And
speaking of Johnson, he looks much better without his
hat. And, why didn’t he tip that hat to the gallery of appreciative fans as he
strode up the18th fairway? BTW, the cameras couldn’t get enough of his wife
Pauline Gretsky. But he was a deserving champ who was described two weeks ago by
Spieth has the best overall shot for shot player on the tour.
I
may have said this before, but I never get tired of Rimsky-Korsakov’s
Scheherazade. It is one of those feel good pieces, storms and all.
The
Answer:
1.
Tommy DiVito was in the Four Seasons, Annie Wilson in Heart and Spanky McFarland
in Spanky and the Gang. 2. Dujardin
actually starteda s astand-up comedian but made a big anmeas an actor winning
theoscar fro The Artist. That led him to big roles in Wolrf of Wall Street and
Monument men. Poppy is an Austri[alian born as Poppy Petal Emma Elizabeth Deveraux
Donahue who’s first big role was as Samantha Spade in Without A Trace and then
went on to the CBS detective program Unforgettabe. The actor Paul Dano received
accolades for Little Miss Sunshine, Therer will be Blood, 12 Years a Slave and
Prisoners. But I remebr himd-for his GG Nomination for his role as Brian Wilson
in Love and Mercy. Aung San Suu Kye is the Burmese social democratic stateswomen,
politician, diplomat, author and youngest daughter of “Father of modern day Myanmar”
who is also known for receiving among many awards the Nobel Peace Prize.
What’s
wrong with a little Heart this morning?
