Biden signings have been good for the pen industry. Exec decrees Dem or Repub seems to go against my naïve idea of this thing called “Checks and balances”.  I say that at the beginning of every new admin, but nobody listens.

 

There’s no truth to the rumor that the Trump team wants to see a recount on the groundhog vote for 6 more weeks of Winter.

 

Guess who will be blamed of for anything and everything that goes wrong in 2021. Hint: It begins with a capital “T”. I imagine everybody knows that answer except Spell-Check.

 

I expect that the most commonly used opening line for news stories this year will be “Senate voted narrowly…”

It’s really easy to make Trump jokes, but tens of millions of Americans want to get back to many of his policies as soon as possible.

 

Amazon now employs over 1,000,000 People. Its revenue is out of sight and its profits are crazy good. And it is exploding now in Covid days. Why wasn’t I smart enough to see that an internet book seller could become one of the dominate economic forces in the world. I mean a book seller – that’s the recipe for untold wealth.

 

Heres’ a great way to get above the minimum wage. Pay attention in school.

 

Surprise, Surprise! Beer swizzling, everyman symbol Elizabeth Warren is going to introduce a “Wealth tax.” Yup, that’s the new buzz phrase in DC – Tax the wealthy Liz may be the first big name to come out with a Getcha proposal but she won’t be the last. It’s a ticket to voter paradise.

 

Marion Barry, former mayor of Washington, DC: "If you take out the killings, Washington actually has a very, very low crime rate."

 

Just to put the big picture a proper perspective, the USA is 60.1% white, 18.5% Hispanic, 12.2% black, 5.6% Asia, 2.8% multiple race, .07% Native American, and 0.2% Pacific Islander (Including native Hawaiian). In 2060 it is rejected to be 44.3% white, 27.5% Hispanic, 13.6 % black, 8.9% Asian, 4.9 % Multi and 0.9% other. The white population is expected to fall below 50% between 2040 and 2045. I thought Asian would be higher in 2060.

 

All you have to do is read headlines and quotes coming out of Wessington DC to write a bestselling comedy Writer’s handbook.

 

The Answer:
Actually, when I wrote this “Q” I thought Number one was going to be “Wild Thing”, but that was by the Trogs. Th Kinks had some good ones with Waterloo Sunset being there #1. Then at #2, You Really Got to Me, followed by Lola, Dead End Street, Sunny Afternoon, Days (1968), All Day and All of the Night, Well Respected Man, Autumn Almanac and at #10 Where Have All the Good Times Gone.
