Human error can be quaint:
Among all of the disingenuous things that politicians and celebrities say, the most laughable is, “I made a mistake.’ Which c translates to, “I got caught intentionally doing something obnoxious, uncivil or illegal but over half the population will forgive me as it being a mistake.
This looks like a downer statistic to this amateur economist. Experts were forecasting new entrants to payrolls in July of about 638,000. They only got 330K. That is a big miss. We will have to see how that plays out this morning, It could be positive because it to some it might signal that The Fed will hold off on applying ob overheated economy breaking controls. One thing is for sure, you never know what is positive or negative when stock analysts start analyzing among themselves.
I firmly believe in the theory of inevitability. What ever that means.
I have to tell you that I am often intrigued by a colorfully designed rug. Especially when I lie on it and take a nap. I feel particularly vibrant.

You didn’t have to be a genius to understand that payroll improvement could have been missed as it was. Just go out for dinner or shop at any bare shelved store. There are not enough people making and moving goods to markets, and servicing them when they are there. I live in a restaurant city, and mere of them are now reducing open days because there aren’t enough employees or food deliveries to keep it churning..
But, the seas are always churning, and that is often enough food for inspiration any day of he week.
I never had the guts to tell a good skeleton joke.
Keep an eye on gold prices during sleepy August.
The new HBO series White Lotus has become unwatchable.
One thing is for sure, a lot of people are working on AI that will be able to predict stock trends days in advance. And just the fact that self-sustaining AI is part such a process, will make it so,
The MV Obama bash has been slashed. Celeb jets will remain snug in hangars and the ex-Prez mansion will be devoid of glitter, having to be satisfied with just family and a few close friends. Hmmm. Silly me, I thought that is what life was all about anyway. He will still be sixty and not have a few hundred Hollywood lefty elite will not make him any younger.
I have to be honest with you, when forty years ago I saw Bill Murray chasing moles in Caddyshack, I never would have imagined it would become a cult classic today.
I think “Being There” with Peter Sellers should be a cult classic. Maybe it is and I haven’t bee told.

Did you know that there are now apps where young people can find their mates for life based on mutual brainpower combined with earnings potential with a possible result of maintaining family dynasties? Yet, with all that digital togetherness, they are still two humans. And humans will be humans. Old romantic fools have a problem with statistically approved marriages.
Do you ever notice sometimes that you think you are aware of just about everything and then you learn that you are distinctly behind the curve?
It doesn’t appear to me that a lot of Americans were crying over the USA women’s soccer team’s poor showing in Tokyo. Arrogance has a price.
One of the sadder outcomes of this current phase of worker shortages is that many good companies are lowering standards in order to just fill offices and stores with warm bodies.
The Answer:
Number One is Italian, and we’re are not talking pizza. Next is Indian followed by Mexican, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Tahi, Mediterranean, Spanish and Seafood. Going up to #25 we have Middle Eastern, Turkish, Moroccan, Cajun, Caribbean, Korean Barbecue, Southern American, Vietnamese, French (Yikes — the fine food paragon is #19!), Lebanese, German, Brazilian, Soul, Georgian and Ukrainian. Three of my bland palate favorites English, Sichuan and Portuguese are at #’s 31, 33 and 35. My favorites in the top 25 are German, French and Southern American. Vegetarian is # 30.
I think they missed the most delightful universal category – “Mom’s”.
