Today's Tids Issue 5,118
Make it end:
I hate the fact that we watch wars on TV now. There is just something totally displeasing about watching soldiers and average people die while sitting on your couch.
Today is “National Hug a GI Day”, just in case you know any huggable GIs.
The easiest time to add insult to injury is when you’re signing somebody’s cast.

A very successful CPA aid he was reading the pamphlet describing new laws about Income Tax forms and deductions, et. al. He found the verbiage quite disturbing, using words like, generally, usually possibly, often and more indecisive words. Thes are not the words of of exact minded accountants who to the best of their ability try to provide all of the legal deductions. “This may be a deduction if...” just doesn’t cut it with a good honest accountant.

States at times try to outdo each other for general all around lunacy. Here in RI we have the ongoing saga of the big free fed money give-away. In the fall last year our Gov said he will give $3,000 to each Gov employee worker who gets a vaccination. Other gov workers said, "Hey, we were responsible and got a vaccination and we didn’t get $3k! Gover nor said Whoops. He said, “We will give all union workers $3,000 retention bonuses as part of their new contract. Problem solved. Not so fast says non-union workers. We stayed with the state Give during the Covid mess and we didn't get a retention bonus of $3K. Gov, says, “Uh-oh.” He just announced that anybody remotely associated with the RI gov gets $3K. RI’s citizens now are now saying, how come high paid judges who have high paid jobs for life get a ”retention” bonus!
The two people wrapped in a barcode were an item.

Do Transformers get car or life insurance?

Lately I keep on ending this column thinking tomorrow I’m going to make this a happy place. But every morning I wake up thinking that would be an insult to Ukrainian people.
Have a Great Weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
