I feel the green. I feel the fire and the fever of my Irish rising. The music I love and the bag pipes playing; the romance in Irish hearts as lovers stroll the green rolling hills, to the Ocean’s shore. Leprechauns spritely and mischievous leading us all to that pot of gold, which we know is always there in our Celtic hearts, our very being, sparkling eyes and radiant smiles. And it glitters more today. Happy Saint Pats Day, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
One to the biggest problems in this USA of ours is this guilty by public opinion trend, fostered by millions of unknowledgeable contributors to social media. Grand juries are secret so as not to ruin a person's reputation by inuendo before all of the facts are in, weighed and considered. And this idea that the public has a right to know further dilutes the idea of innocent until proven guilty. Lately false claims and misinformation is staining good people for life. And this is just dead wrong.

I may have to stop eating until the stock market goes back up. If the stocks rose as fast as grocery prices, we'd all be bringing home a lot of bacon.
Around here it seems as though people regard Covid as a thing of the past. But In Europe they are experiencing a 25% spike in cases right now. How disruptive will it be when it all comes raring back?

75 years ago a kid could really make a dollar go far in a department store. But now with all the security cameras, not so much.
So, if we are supporting Ukraine with funds and weapons and China is supporting Russia with funds and weapons, does that mean we are at war with China?
It appears that all of the diametrically opposed factions in the USA are actually joining together in their disgust for Putin and the war in Ukraine. I think crime in the streets is pretty disgusting too. Maybe they can join together and give the police a boost while ridding ourselves of liberal DA’s who repeatedly let criminals walk free only to harm again.

Of course, Dublin is most populous at 1.11Million. Next is Belfast (580K) followed by Cork, Derry, Limerick, Galway, Craigavon, Waterford, Drogheda and Dundalk (37.8K). Not a lot of overcrowding there. Must be enough potatoes to go around.
