It’s May. There is something about those two words, “it’s May”; perhaps a little like a melody. A softness as flowers bloom. But then we will hear the thunder of hoof-beats and the whine and roar of Engines. The raucous side of gentle May. Yes, it is a month when the glory of nature flourishes along with the Kentucky Derby and The Indy 500. It’s a day at the end as we remember those brave heroes fallen. And, it is a month that gives us a moment to say, Thanks Mom. Thanks for bringing me into this world I love. Tanks for putting up when I didn't live up to where I should be. And thanks for helping me through my lows or celebrating my highs. I hope I wasn’t too much trouble. Thanks, May, for being so beautiful. It's nice to have you hanging around for a while.  

 

That horrific, cold-blooded murder down in Texas is yet just another of those insane murderous actions that have shattered us all lately. I noticed that the FBI put out a notice, “Armed and Dangerous”. Hmm. I alert myself to that possibility as I walk around ten streets of my little city these days eyeballing passer’s-by.

One of the big political points of discussion floating around is that Biden may not make it till 2028 and that 2024 is really an election for Kamala Harris as Prez. Of course, it makes Repubs nervous, but it also seems to be giving Dems Second thoughts about their VP selection being an encumbrance. President KamalaHarris. Roll tat around on your tongue for a minute or two. 

 

Last night the Boston Bruins Record smashing Professional Hockey team may have had the biggest sports collapse since the Greeks upset the Persians at Marathon. Or, something like that, 

 

Of course, New England sports fans a have always loved pain. Its something to argue about at the local bah. 

 

Do you get the feeling that the States are trying to create a new pandemic style addiction for the sake of raising money to help fund teir onw spending addictions. Yes, digital gambling is everywhere now, and the money flow is created from regular people’s losses. Many of of the states can’t stumble over themselves fast enough to get online going in their state. Just because it is legislator authorized, it doesn't make it any less addictive.

My grandson is full time student and resident in Washington state. But, he worked in Seattle to help fund schooling and had to pay the state of Rhode Island over $1000 in income taxes because he still is considered living with his parents here. But this time it isn't just RI money grubbing, states all over want piece of your body no matter where you work. There are horror tales aplenty. 

 

So far since the legalization of Pot, sales have been mediocre. Either there aren’t as many regular pot smokers as we think or the smokers can get it easier, cheaper and stronger off their regular dealer.
