We see it.

Today's Tids Issue 6,172

Vacant Eyes:

About 75% of Albertans last night and said we want to remain part of Canada. That's good for human stability. It was about Alberta financial independence through oil dominance. It’s like if Texas would leave the US. Or if Wyoming were to hold the USA hostage because it is rich in rare earths. A union is made of many elements, many contributing factors big and small. Yet sometimes self-importance creeps and the value of balance is muffled.  United is the power.

Enough sermonizing for today.

Well, we have a World Series – The Tampa Bay Rays against Milwaukee Brewers. Tampa Bay is where Milwaukee people go in the winter. Milwaukee is known for brewskies and Tampa Bay for cigars. Sounds like a dinner idea.

The Question:

Who are the two most famous TV people from Milwaukee? Bonus: Name five great Milwaukee Beers of past and present.

The Headlines:

--AI Stock Bounce Back Fizzles Early; Netflix, Tesla, Meta to Report after Closing.

--Alberta Clearly rejects Separation.

--Zelensky Preparing for Oslo Talks with Key Envoys; Rubio Says US is Not Holding Back Intelligence.

--Marseille Protest Gave Way to Apocalyptic Disorder; France Bracing for More.

--North Korea Publishes Photos of Kim Jong Un with Daughter to Combat Rumors of his Death.

--Trump Announces $8 Billion for Farmers to Offset Deisel Costs; Trump repeats $5K Vote Byung Promise in Alaska.

--Michael Bloomberg Delvers $80 Mil to Dems for Last Two Week’s Push.

It’s not surprising to read that AI Bots are being tested for stock trading, What has been surprising is that early results show fantastic success.

The costume tracker has as the top sellers this year: Buddy the Unicorn, NeeDoh (Squishy Toy), Nikki from horror film Obsession, Agamemnon from Odyssey and Classic witches and Vampires. Also popular are Woody and Lily. Love Braids, Carl and Princess Donut, Cyclops and Jane Grey, J-Lo and Maveric and Wall-E and Eve. If most of these camero my house, I wouldn't know who they were. Guaranteed?

I was talking to an alert 27-year-old guy, grandson of a neighbor yesterday, He speaks in a different tongue and a ;ot of what he does revolves around the access to a smart phone. It is as inherent to him as having no TV was to me. We adjust.

Yet, I find there are common subjects that break through generations like sports or other special interest topics. No matter how far apart eyes are in years they see the sane pass play or fielding gem or classic antique or rebuilt car.

Speaking of the Youth. “Zit’s” is a very funny daily comic about a high school boy and the trials of his parents, and yesterday he decided to have a”90’s” party and sent out paper invitations with a map to his house. Nobody came. Still laughing.

But I'm crying that there is even a hint of buying people's votes in America,

There's just something about hearing the Orange Blossom Express that reminds you tha twe are still in the same great place,

To a lot of people, the phrase, “Your updates are ready to download” is the scariest phrase of all.’ Only the software engineer understands the changes. And nobody knows how to describe them to humans.

I just walked down the coffee aisle of a supermarket. Wow, these prices are a real inflation indicator.  But I had to laugh at a Folgers display where a can of coffee was priced at $9.79. And t right next to that was a starburst sticker with the words “Great Price!”  Reminds me of a huckster telling us there is no inflation, and affordability isn't a problem.  Has the Iran war increased the price of gaslighting?

The Answer

Who better represents Milwaukee than Laverne and Shirley!  Bonus: Pabst Blue Ribbon a real oldie is a big one, and Schlitz was big in my house and also ”The Beer that made Milwaukee Famous.” There was Miller High Life, Blatz s\and Old Milwaukee.

Making Milwaukee’s dream come true. They did it their way, just like the Brewers. Ok everybody, let's join in and sing along.
