Opening Stuff:
The
big lotteries are like a new tax system that only
allows a select few a refund.
Trend
conscious Americans spend an enormous amount of money on

To
be honest with you, I’m getting tired of listening to
Trump and Cruz. I’m just another short attention span American.
During
cold winter days and long winter nights many people
are turning to Binge Tidsing for depression relief from not winning Powerball,
and general all-around brain stimulation. It’s better than Gilligan Island
reruns! You can easily find* over a thousand Tids that are searchable by topic at

The Question:
EeeHah,
Double “Q” Day: 1. What was the name of the well known
governor who upon his inauguration pledged: “Segregation Forever”? 2. Faye Dunaway was a real good actress
for a number of years. Name five of her movies.

One
of the silliest political arguments is about which party
is most diverse. It is particularly silly because black, Hispanic, Asian, gay
and Female Republicans aren’t considered black, Hispanic, Asian, Gay or Female
by Democrats. And sadly, voters buy into it.
To
say the least, mimes are determined to remain
silent.
Are
the New England Patriots self-destructing before our
eyes?
In
the fifties we didn’t have smart phones to occupy our teen
years, but during the summer we spent a lot of fun moments peeling sunburn
skin.
A
lot of Repubs have come out after Nikki Haley. They must
fear her potential influence, and Trump’s rant was probably designed to put her
down before she can gain political traction and muddy his waters. I didn’t
agree with everything that the SC governor said, or even with what she has done
in the past, but let’s just stop killing our young. One of the reasons Trump
has done so well is that many Americans have been craving something beyond the
usual suspects, and Haley has the potential to be in that sphere too.
Did
you hear about the mind numbing conversation between the
brain surgeon and anesthesiologist?
Despite
what the reigning conservatives say, the Repubs have
trouble beating Dems in a White House race without a strong support from
Independents and crossover Dems. In case they forgot, their main man Ronald
Reagan won by doing just that.
First
there was VW, and now we see the beginnings of the
next story of fact manipulation from Fiat and Renault. I wonder what’s driving all
of this.
Falling
senior citizens should be aware of the gravity of the
situation.
The
Parking Lot: Chapter 40 continues…
About 20
minutes after Casey had gone who knows where, Nancy pulled the older faded
green Sentra up a side street between two chain link fence enclosed parking
lots. “What a depressed looking place,” commented Jared as he looked over the
weed filled macadam surfaces with faded white liens.
“Not as depressed
as I’m thinking Fred must be,” countered Nancy, bringing the situation back
into reality. She took out a pair of powerful binoculars and saw the package
still taped to the entry way. Her heart upped its beat.
They didn’t
notice the car that pulled up two blocks away, also with a vantage point that
would offer a view of the area around Jackovic Plaza, as Nancy had started to call
it.
Nancy pulled
out her cell phone and redialed the number from the previous Jackovic call.
“Hello,
are you nearby,” came the answer after barely two rings.
“I could
be, but I thought we might meet somewhere else. How’s Fred?”
“Healthy but
not happy, and very lucky you called.” Nancy and Jared had moved to the back
seat, so if as expected, Jackovoc and
one of his goons were looking out a window, all they would see is one more tired
faded green car among many others. “When are youcoming here?” the gruff voice
asked.
“I’m not.
I figure it would be unwise trust you with my life.” She thought she heard a little
chuckle. “But, I can get you what you want, and stop putting up barriers to
your development.” She paused.
“I’m
waiting.”
“Go to
route 6 and drive one mile east of South Watuppa to a big old parking lot at an
abandoned motel. I’ll tell you what’s next” Now there was noticeable silence on
the other end of the phone.
Banning
Viagra
was a big flop.
The
Answer:
1.
George
Wallace, who else, said that at his inauguration for Governor of Alabama. Later
as an outsider presidential candidate appealing to angry voters tired of Dems
and Repubs and hippie protests, he scored well as a third party candidate gaining
five states and a fair amount of Electoral College votes. 2. Dunaway’s first movie was The Happening. She hit the big time
with Bonnie and Clyde. She also scored with The Thomas Crown Affair, Chinatown,
The Towering Inferno, Three Days of the Condor and Network. Some notable later
films were Mommie Dearest, Barfly, Arizona Dream and The Eyes of Laura mars.
