For Lazy Skies:
Happy
Summer, everybody! This is the day that northern folks
dream about when they are trudging through mounds of snow in February. Not only
is it the first day of summer, but it is the frist day we have seen in well over
a month that actually approaches looking and feeling like summer. Of course, it
is also the longest day of sun light for the year too, Always is. This only means
we will see shorter days from now on till that time in December when we are
smothered in midnight darkness at 4:15 PM. So while our hope for brighter days
is over, think about the character you will build as you maintain a happy face
as the days grow shorter. Yes, folks, Happy June 21! Yeah, right.
One
of the great all-time scams in America was getting people to
pay to wear clothes with giant logos, instead of garment makers paying consumers
for the exposure.
That
Georgia Congressional win last night could be considered a
good one for the White House. Reports say that the money spent for a congressional
seat was the most in history. It is also noted that the biggest barrage of
bucks for candidate Ossoff came from way out of the Georgia district, from progressive
enclaves like Martha’s Vineyard and the San Francisco area. It also appears
that the Dems missed the target, again, by selecting a super liberal candidate.
In a state where Dems are more likely to be conservative on social issues, the
party genius picked rabid pro-abortion, pro-climate, pro everything not conservative.
Supporters in San Fran took to the streets out there supporting Ossoff chanting
“We love higher Taxes, We love higher taxes…”. Georgia people, Repub or Dem,
are a lot smarter than the SF crowd.

One
of the things I have noticed is that college students
are more concerned about learning about what may be on a test than just plain learning
to get smarter.
I
always listen to the conversations of average people as I
wander around city streets and country lanes. While the national polls seem to
indicate that Trump is popular among the middle class, former factory workers,
what I’m hearing says to me that it may not be universal. What I’m hearing from
people I would classify as having demographics similar to those of the well
documented Trump support group is that there is a lot of anger against rich
people not paying taxes and in particular the rich Prez who they feel got away
with not paying taxes for a long, long time. What I’m hearing from these groups
is that if the government can’t pull off health care acceptable to the average
guy, they aren’t interested in tax reform that would only help the rich (In
their yes). That’s what they hear. That’s what they know. They don’t delve.
Period. End of discussion.
McNelly
and Brookins research shows that 10 out of 10 clowns say that laughter
is the best medicine.
To
me,
Summer means heat and crowds of people.
I
hate to give good advice to Dems, but they have to stop
with the anti-Trump message for campaigns and get bac to what’s good, for America
messages. With their inability to quell the anger from way back on November 8th,
they have lost what they stand for, why they should be followed by tried and
true democrats. This misunderstanding of their prime traditional audience has
made the mainstream democrats vulnerable to the Sanders progressive takeover –
not yet a winning idea in American voting booths.
Ladies,
Gentlemen, unfurl your mats. It’s International Yoga day.
The
auto-drive people have a long way to go before I’ll be
sitting in the back of a car being driven by a microchip. Most autopilot systems
today advise in a warning, “don’t take your hands off the wheel”. Experts who
have tested any system say the practicality of self-driving cars has a long,
long, long, long (Yes lots of “Longs) way to go. In fact, one expert says that
today the driver has to work harder driving with auto-pilot than with current drive
it yourself cars.
Could
Dem obstruction have a negative effect on it’s emission
to recapture the senate and congress?
If
womb is pronounced woom, and tomb is pronounced toom, why

Answer:
You probably know neighbor or weigh that sound like “a”,
but also consider feisty, heist, weird, beige, foreign, either, seize, and
reinvent. Bonus: In the 16th
century, somebody wrote in a letter, “God B W Ye” as an abbreviation for God be
with ye. It appeared as Goodbwye which was read as goodbye.
Senor
Wences always made me laugh:
Godbwye!
