Today's Tids Issue

For finding stuff, lost, or not yet to be:
One
of the great feelings in life is watching young
people being genuinely happy about the little things about life passages.
In
the aftermath of the Ossoff debacle, many leading Dems are
admitting that the regular voters are bored to tears with the Dem leadership obsession
with Russia in the elections.
New
stats say that vacation spending puts 74% Of Americans into
debt. So, that means that people who live in vacation type areas are selling the soul
of their community for the almighty dollar to entice people who are selling their
soul to the credit card companies. It just seems to me that there must be a better
way to have an economy.
I’d
like to be able to give you all a nice clean, clear
picture of what’s going on with the healthcare issue. But, the entire mess
gives me such a headache, that I just can’t focus. The simple explanation is
that a lot of things could work if politics were eliminated from the discussions.
If we can’t fix that, then we are hopelessly stuck with mediocrity.
The
Question:
Name ten of the well-known 16th and 17th
century exporters of the newly discovered America.

The
last thing I would ever want to do is watch behind the scenes

I
don’t think my mind is so complex that Spell-Check couldn’t
put two and two together and figure out how to makes simple corrections.
Get
out the DEET. CDC says Tick season could be a doozy
this year. Be careful of long grasses, and leaf piles. Get to known which Tick generated
diseases are prevalent in your area.
How
come deer don’t get Lyme disease?
Seriously,
how many of these “spontaneous” bloopers and behind the scenes videos
of celebs do you think are orchestrated by their publicists and producers?
It’s
always good to remember the boy who cried wolf fable when you
are tempted to go to one of those videos promoted on Internet news sites. More often
than not, nothing happens.
A
lot of genius marketers spend a lot of time and
money on branding. But sometimes the simplest solution is the best. At Walker’s
shortbread it is really all about two little adjectives – “Pure Butter”.
The
Answer:
I have always been fascinated by the world’s great explorers
starting with the greats of Portugal. Most people would like to know where Ponce
de Leon went to find the Fountain Of Youth. Of course, he was really early,
establishing Florida well before Virginia and Plymouth colony. Other important early
explorers were Francisco Vasquez de Coronado, Giovani Verrazano, Samuel de
Champlain, Sir Francis Drake, Jacques Cartier, John Smith, Adrian Block, Thomas
Hunt, Henry Hudson, John Cabot, Hernando De Soto, Sir Walter Raleigh, Jan
Cabrillo, Americus Vespucci. Some say Leif Erickson was the first to explore North
America, very likely landing in Canada’s maritime provinces and perhaps even Newport
RI. In the mid 1500’s under authorization from Queen Elizabeth, Martin
Frobisher and John Davis explored he Atlantic coast. Their original charter from
the Queen was to find the Northwest Passage to India.
Tomorrow
I will explore some interesting topics. How’s that for
excitement? That plus my hot wind should get me across the mighty seas to new discoveries.
Thanks for being patient.
