Today's Tids Issue 3,903
For Seaching new depths:
Creep:
Any unsavory character as defined by dads evaluating men calling on daughters;
2. The unfortunate limitations upon stock growth as valuations sneak up on
reasonable maximums. Alas, my daughters have all married great people, but unfortunately,
we are all now wed to a healthy market with nowhere to go. How do we drift
sideways and still see our portfolios rise? Aha, we look for losers bypassed by
the euphoria…that haven’t caught up with the creep, But with depressed
valuations, come problems. One big undersold sector is retail which is loaded
with debt, and undergoing perhaps a paradigm change. Inside that umbrella there
are some sensible alternatives that can withstand the rain. Healthcare stocks
are also languishing because nobody knows nuttin’ about what the government
will do about insuring 20% of the population. But, I expect the keen eyes of
Wall Street denizens will spot potential medicine among them interesting enough
to to begin the healing in that sector. Disney, the former golden, highly
animated stock turned sluggish in the shadows of an evil castle known as ESPN,
could be whistling again a happy tune. It is the world leader in entertainment
content with many new options for
distribution. GM on the other hand is prime position for growth with a 5.5 multiple. But, how many of their products
are hot? The Tids aren’t long enough for more that these tidbits, but the
problem for continued growth is real, especially if we continue to pursue quality.
Those
who only see the
typos of life will continually miss the essence of ideas.
While
it is extremely difficult to take the cringe factor of
Trumperino, it is easier than dealing the fear associated with direction of the
Obama admin.
The

Has
anybody seen the Red Sox bats?
National
news has become a blur, ennui; it is a tired,
mindless repetition from people with agendas. That’s probably why I am reading
more intently than ever our local pertinent, albeit skinny daily paper. A story
about rearranging traffic patterns in my neighborhood is much more important to
my daily life than the ramblings of so-called people’s representatives.
But
then, I’ll find that somebody has an agenda in moving the
streets.
Pedestrians
have
got to learn that crosswalk entitlements come with a life sustaining need for
personal responsibility.
That
shooting of the apparently incredibly innocent
woman sitting in a Minneapolis police patrol car is certainly an odd tale. All
cameras, in the car and on officers were shut off. The latest detail is that
the shooter, Mohamed Noor, had two recent complaints against him. But, basically
little else is known and he situation is very strange. I will be following this
one. The Tids likes strange.
New
IPO’s Blue Apron and Snap are good examples of how Wall
Street has its irrational exuberance well under control. That is good for confidence
going forward.
I
think I have slowed down my mind to the point where it is having
trouble finding Tidlets. Good for my temperament, but not so hot for entertaining,
informative Tids.
The
Answer:
Number one is Jackie Evancho. Next I order are Elle
fanning, Peyton List, Sabena Carpenter, Ariel Winter, Madison Pettis, Bailee
Madison, China An McClain, Ryan Newman and Maddie Ziegler. Never heard any of 9
of them. Get ready for publicists.
I
think these Tids are a little loose.
Tomorrow I hope to find a little juice.
