For us:
Everybody
looks at the world a little differently than others. Oh the
degrees of difference may be slight, even among some who seem to violently oppose
each other. How different can humans with beating hearts be? After all, differences
are merely attributes of personalities. Not corrosions of substance. When people
are within the themselves far from the intruding rhetoric, they have love, a
desire to give it and a yearning to want it. Somehow, I believe we can tap into
the souls of humanity and find each other.
As
far as I’m concerned, the big news today is that it will be the
first real hot day of the Summer, and I will have to be out in it. I’ll have to
take an extra aspirin to keep my blood flowing!
I
was at this major hospital complex in Boston yesterday (No,
not for me), and I was thinking that this is in essence a huge consumer shopping
mall where nobody ever asks, “How much will that cost me”. There’s something
wrong with that.
Most
of the news these hot summer days has been about things that
didn’t happen, or abhorrence over events that were always considered SOP before
Trump.
By
the way, while the eager, intrepid journalists of America
were looking askance for smudges on the White House, Trump cut, withdrew or
delayed about 800 regulations.
It
was ice waking up this morning having the British Open scores
already flowing in.
The
Question:
The Summer months feel a little more patriotic than
other seasons. They begin with Memorial Day, end with Labor Day and have the
big fireworks in between. That may be why several American brands of autos have
become hot sellers this summer. Name the ten top “Hot” selling autos this
summer so far.
The
Headlines:
--Senator McCain Has Aggressive Form Of Brain Cancer;
Senator tells Friends He’s been Through Worse..
--Markets look to Open Higher; Some Are Saying The
tgime is ripe for A Pullback.
--Trump Dumps On Sessions; Weird, Just Plain Weird;
Conway Excoriates GOP Senators..
--Goldman Sachs On Hiring Spree To become “Google of
Wall Street”.
--Big Banking 2008 Induced Move From High Risk Hedge
Fund Like Operations To Market Making Trading Exposed Them To Greater Losses.
The
differences are slight when one of their own falls prey
to the ogre cancer
In
the NBA some futurist coaches
are thinking that the days of position by position player are over. Everybody on
the court is capable of assuming many roles, i.e. Guards can be forwards centers
can be guards. The skill sets are now interchangeable. In politics, we should
all be independents. Politicians put people in boxes they can manage. People
can see many more sides than ever before.
Pundits
said this morning that the president had a good day yesterday,
meeting with senators, talking sensibly on a couple of subjects. Then he goes
on a rant cutting off at the knees the legs of his own Attorney General. Crazy,
just plain crazy.
My
Ancestry DNA just came in and I’m finding I’m considerably more
sympathetic to the antics of Hagar the Horrible.
Actually,
I’m hearing that my constant misinterpreted rules
grammar and incorrect spellings will taint me for life! Does that make me officially
a member of the great unwashed? Who woulda thunk it, that a cuddly guy like me
woulda sunk so low.
This
is the best of times to be looking for a job, that is if you
have some talent other than looking dense in a fast food uniform. Companies are
hungry for good, people. Repeat, good with some modicum of talent.
I
think that the analysts who report on oil production or
the lack of it, are trying to fool us. I find it impossible to believe that one
day there si no production in the US and the next there is way too much; one
day oil reserves are scant, the next they are flowing throughout the nation.
America’s
Got Talent is getting to the point where if you want
to watch so as to be informed during the finals. Last night they reduced 21 to
seven. Full report tomorrow.
The
greatest thing that Trump has going for his potential longevity
in the White House is the “Boys and Girls Who Cry Wolf Media”. Nothing binds is
base together more than the continual attacks, sometimes for absolutely nothing.
There
is absolutely no question that Wegmans’s makes the best
sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches.
Are
you prepared for uninterrupted OJ Nostalgia reports
as the Cable news and networks try to capitalize on the killer’s bid for
parole.
In
all likelihood, the socialist who won the Democrat
primary here for RI Senate seat, will also win the general election to replace
a likeable ex-Senator, This person doesn’t have an iota of commonality with my
view of a self-determination world.
The
winner of the “Standing Headline of the Year is:
“Trump reverses Course”. Number two is, “Democrats disagree with Trump.”
The
Answer:
Well, Number One is the always hot Ford F-150.. #2
is the usual summer favorite of the young, the Jeep Wrangler. After those two
we have Chevrolet Silverado 1500, The Ford Mustang, Ford F-250, Chevrolet Corvette,
a foreign car -- Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD
and Chevrolet Tahoe. Yes, biz is good in the proverbial Detroit sector of
America.
The
Media likes to be loved, just like ay other group of
humans. Maybe that’s strategy that could pay off for the White Hosue, of it was
adult and sincere.
See
you all tomorrow.
