For Patience:
AI
(Artificial Intelligence) may be pretty good at some things
but judgment is certainly not one of them. Earlier this week a Midwestern newspaper’s
effort to help people understand the true meaning of the 4th (Like
what actually is the Declaration of Independence?) was stymied by a new Facebook
program that blocked one of the actual lines from the precious document for
being “Hate Speech”. Facebook apologized saying it made an error. But, could it
be that AI has on its own opted to join and become the cyber arm of that fancy
new progressive party taking over the Dems. I have always thought that
“artificial Intelligence” is a natural for the left, if you get my drift.
All
music comes from just 12 notes. I think after all of
these millenniums we are finally we are running out of melodies.
Many
states including mine are calling no-talking-on-the-phone-while-driving,
“Hands Free” driving. I think we may have a problem. Far too many people are
far too literal. They may think that phrase means keep your hands in your laps
and steer with your knees. I have seen things like this happen in the past’
What
do you call a fish with a missing eye? A fsh.
Have
you noticed that in England the police don’t give out the
names of suspects until legitimate charges are brought forth. Just think of the
havoc that would be raised if the cable news and daytime TV talk show industry were
unable to discuss and opine on all possibilities of career destroying inuendo.
If
any group should be concerned about his tariff mess, it is
seniors wo are likely to be hit hardest with inflated prices.

I
think we need a law that’s says -- After any given
tragedy large or small, any personal complaint by an individual that mushrooms
into a national controversy, no law can be made in reaction to a single event
for at least one year.
People
have long wondered what would cause the end of the earth
and mankind. I think I’m seeing the answer emanating from the bullhorns on city
streets -- One final massive protest against everything that exists. It’s over,
there is nothing more to protest.
You
think I was kidding about people misunderstanding
the phrase “Hands Free Droving”. I read a story of a woman who sued a microwave
manufacturer for killing her wet cat after she had placed it in the oven to dry.
Her complaint was centered around the fact that the instructions never said, “Do
not put animals in the microwave.” She won millions!
I
don’t know about your area, but Dunkin’ Donut’s new Dunkin’
Fries are becoming a big hit around here. Basically, the company creative chefs
have formed their croissant dough into French fry shapes, add cinnamon and sugar
and deep fry them til crunchy. It is the latest addiction in these parts.
The

They
really don’t make good movies like they did in the
past. I’m talking obviously about movies I like, which are mainly good
mysteries with no social overtones.
I
remember clearly the days when we would use a lit cigarette
to remove a tick from the skin of a person or animal. Hmmm. Have you noticed
that ever since the smoking bans were put in place the tick population has gone
wild?
The
TV hawker who has me convinced is the guy who saws the boat

products off of that very impressive technology. This is a must toolkit item for

The
Narrow Minded Left, Department:
A major feminist columnist and regular contributor
to HuffPost tweeted this: Out on the road the other day I saw an affluent black
man driving a BMW with two bumper stickers. One was pro NRA and the other was
for the tea Party that read, “Don’t tread on me”. She Ended the tweet saying,
“I was very confused.” As the focus of the left becomes more inward we may be
seeing the spread of a coastal pandemic of “Sudden Confusion Syndrome.”
Comics
writers Brookins and McNelly are saying that the

Reading
Between the Lines Movie Reviews:
--The latest Marvel big screen comic book is The Ant
Man and the Wasp. Ant Man’s hope of staying home with the wife and kids,
reading books quietly by the fire are dashed when he is asked to join forces
with the Wasp on an urgent new mission that will reveal new secrets to their
past. If you like the genre, it’s better than some.
--An Oakland Cal black telemarketer finds the secret
to very profitable power calling which leads him to new heights of material excess,
and conflict with his min wage, artist girlfriend and other friends who organize
against corporate oppression. This occurs just as our striving hero’s cocaine
snorting boss offers him a salary of
unimaginable proportions. Sounds like another anti-business protest. Critics, love
it, BTW.
--I always felt sorry for the Whitney Houston, and
her irreconcilable addiction. The documentary “Whitney” is quiet the successful
effort, with lots of home movies combined with news tapes of her performances
and life events for a revealing look at the demise of truly one of our greatest
singers ever.
--Nobody seems to like very much The First Purge a
movie about a grand social experiment gone wrong. The government allows
community aggression for one night and then moves in to aggressively quell the
nightmare, to show the rest of the country that violence in a community cannot
be tolerated. The idea backfires and leads to a worse national tragedy as the
rage of the trial city denizens into national outrage and extreme violent counter aggression..
The
Answer:
Number one is Marquis de Sade. Ouch! #2 is Ayn Rand.
Three is Valdimir Nabokov followed by Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, D.H. Lawrence,
George Orwell, Allen Ginsburg, Oscar Wilde and H.P. Lovecraft. The Next five
are Christopher Hitchens, Salman Rushdie, V.C. Andrews, Donald Trump and Frederich
Nietzche. Some of the others in the top 25 are Henry Miller, JD Sallinger
Hitler, Kurt Vonnegut, Capote, Sylvia Plath, Hunter Thompson and Richard
Dawkins. I always though Charles Schultz was pretty thought provoking.
I
don’t seem to see a book about making a deal as being that controversial.
Perhaps it has something to do with the author. Nah.
An
