Today's Tids Issue 4,573
Yada, Yada, Yada:
It’s about 20 days
to Valentine’s day. Just in case you are looking for the rapture of romance following
the bitterness of political posturing. Pump some life into your hearts. It will
be over.
It’s a good thing
that we had 16 hours for the Dems to repeat their charges.
Happy Year of the Rat,
Everybody!
As I look around, I see many
Americans who seemed enthralled by other nations. Theorists who would like to
change the basic concepts of US governing; that the USA would behave like other
governments around the world, many of whom are not stable because they have
built in gimmicks to oust leadership at any given moment on a whim. Or are Governments
of not the people.
The Question:
Who are considered the most influential people of
all time?
The Headlines:
--Markets Expected To Bounce Back Though Concerns
Over China Virus Remain.

Now, I know one thing for sure,
Almond fluid isn’t milk. How can they get way with false advertising? Milk: “An
opaque white fluid rich in fat and protein, secreted by female mammals for the nourishment
of their young.” BTW, real milk provides
8x’s more naturally occurring, high quality proteins in a n 8 oz glass – and has
no added sugar.
New generations
are dismissing facts of history and definitions of basic resources to justify their
own rebellion against norms.
Basically,
on Wednesday Adam Schiff made his case tor taking Diane Feinstein’s seat in the
Senate.
Is anything really changing,
or do we just have more people taking pictures of events, and more news sources
reporting them? And, BTW, increased activity should be measured by percentages
and not by anecdotal incidents of events. There are millions of more people
now, and things appear to be happing more often, but most likely not at greater
rates. Now, I have to say the no time in history had we aver had as many people
falling off of cliffs taking selfies.
Now this is an example of
“Can Do” spirit: China will build in just 6 days a new hospital to fight the virus
in Wuhan. In the US it would take six days of emails to arrange a meeting to
discuss the possibility of thinking about building a hospital. In 3 years.
Odd juxtaposition:
Year of the Rat and a widespread killer virous in China.
Midas took very good
care of his pet deer. He had a hart of gold.
I wish there was more
to talk about, but the impeachment hearings have sucked the air out of the
information world, and have not produced anything worth writing about. They
have pretty much built a case against using impeachment as a replacement for elections.
Remember elections?
Up until the new foodists,
the only people who got away with false advertising were politicians.
Reading Between the Lines Movie Reviews:
--Now you might imagine that “Zombie Child” would be
a classic B film. But this one seems better. A man in Haiti is brought back to
life and condemned to the sugarcane fields. 55 years later at a prestigious
Paris boarding school a Haitian girl reveals a family secret, And then… This intrigues
me.
--Matthew McConaughey strats in this tale about a guy
who built a marijuana empire in London, and decides to cash out. That word gets
out we are treated to plots ,schemes and blackmail to stea lhis domain. I like
that.
--I might also like Color Out Of Space, a film where
a meteor lands on an out of the way farm in mid America. The family battles an extraterrestrial
who seeks to infect their minds.
--If you are intrigued about the horror film The Turning,
don’t fall prey opt your impulses. This one is bad
