Fairness is relative.

Today's Tids Issue 5,232

Dreams do come true:

Rats! I didn't win $830 Million last night. Oh well, back to the salt mines.

Maybe Congress should pass a new law banning Luck as not being fair to all Americans. I can hear it now from the progressive left, “Share the Pot”. I make up a lot of stuff. But nothing surprises me anymore.

You can’t change the wind, but you can always reset your sails.

Today may be an indicator day about a recession. The fed speaks and it will speak in terms of slow the economy through interest rates. How much slower can an economy go before it hits stop.

Today is “National Chicken Finger Day.” I didn’t know chickens had fingers.

The Question:

In 1940 Billboard magazine published its first Top Songs List. Number one at that time was Tommy Dorsey and his band with the tune “I’ll never smile again”. Name the relatively unknown band singer who sang it with the band.

The Headlines:

--Waiting For Powell, Markets Poised; Markets Open Higher But Afternoon Will Tell It All

-Xi Is Invited To Attend The November G20 Meeting In Indonesia; They say Xi Seemed Pleased But No Official Word Yet Out Of China Yet.

--Ukraine Takes Out Critical Russia Military Supply Chain Bridge; Uses Newest US Tech Rockets Effectively.

--Mega Millions Prize Surges To $1.02 Billion.

--DT Part Of DoJ J6 Investigation.

--PGA Adjusts FedEx Points List To Account for LIV Deserters. Move Designed To Be Fair To Remaining Players.

A week ago, USAG Merrit Garland said he had no intention of bringing charges against DT before the elections. But last night in an interview of NBC, anchor Lester Holt was shameless in is pressuring Garland, implying not so subtly that everybody wants the Trumpster charged sooner than later.

This is one of those days when what happens at the opening really doesn’t matter at all for the regular old stockholders.

One thing I’ve always thought was unfair was all the credit given to a singer when it was the talented musicians in the band who made the song vibrant and emotionally explosive.

Welfare should be a bridge, not a parking lot.” --Sen John Kennedy, La

I think if the Fed had begun acting earlier the landing wouldn’t feel so hard as it appears now it will beFasten your seat belts.

It’s not fair to get mad at lazy people. They didn’t do anything.

The Answer:

Tommy Dorsey made Frank Sinatra famous singing with his great band and with the tune, “I'll never smile again". You know the rest of the story.

Fairness is having an equal opportunity to dig deep inside yourself and make the most of the talents that are w always residing there.

Today is National Bagpipe appreciation day. I love bagpipes.
