Today's Tids Issue 5,307
There are so many:
Music is a soothing expression.
It’s like a conversation full of love.
Of caring.
Why can’t talking be more like that.
Mainly about goodness and kindness.
Understanding
And giving.
Maybe today at least,
Maybe today can be like a symphony.
Of and odd bunch of instruments,
Coming together,
To produce sounds,
Like smiles from warm hearts
Like at least maybe today,
“Giving Tuesday”.
I would have no problem eating at The Golden Corral ona regualr basis,
One of the more disturbing trends, at least around here, is the sudden demise of many great decades old small, often family businesses. One that just went out of business was a 75-year-old family restaurant that still had great food and people in lines waiting to get in. What they didn’t have since Covid were lines of people looking for employment. Where have all the workers gone? Are they all waiting for the next big Government giveaway?
The Question:
What are the five biggest charities in the USA?
The Headlines:

--USA Soccer Beats Iran 1-0; Moves On.
--China Clamps Down on Protesters.
--Biden Asks Congress to Act to Prevent Rail Strike.
With smart phones, you don’t need old magazines in Doctors' offices anymore. Actually, I never minded older magazines. It was cheaper than multiple subscriptions. So, you’re a few months behind the culture trends. What’s the big deal.
A reader said I have not done an average Obit death age analysis in a while, so I’m randomly picking todays Providence Journal for the State of Rhode Island The 22 obits in the study attained average age of 78.55. If I throw two in the 50’s (Much too young) it is 80.9. Yikes!
There were some good The Voice moments last night, but my opinions were not quite as rapturous as the Judges. I thought that Bodie, Morgan Myles, Juston Aaron, Omar and Kim Cruise stood out. Country boy Bryce Leatherwood held his own and was getting better. He will survive because he is country. Of course, I like Parijita, and she was as moving as always. I would vote her as a top four finalist. Also, a bit of a surprise last night on the positive side was the young kid Brayden Lape. To go – Rowan (Too bad) and Kique. My final four would be Parijita, Bodie, Justin and Morgan. But, Kim could make it too.
Apparently, according to a big mob boss in Russia the real power there is now divided between to gang groups, one allied to Putin and another allied to another potential despot. The guy speaking implies a gang war to determine the new power structure. Other new report is of key organized Russians gathering in Poland to oust Putin, and also Putin allies tired of his war backing off on their support. Not a garden of Eden paradise over there these days.
Sorry I’m so shirt today.
