Today's Tids Issue 5,304
Days are days:
I find that ocean breezing
Makes summer heat,
Rather more pleasing.
We need more news events like the Hunter plea collapse to make TV viewing more interesting.
The Fed said yesterday they don’t see a recession in our future. That should make the weather seem cooler.
I hate Russian dolls. They’re so full of themselves.
The Question:
Over the years I have watched a lot of good series on FX. What do you think the top 10 favorites have been?
The Headlines:
-Markets Mixed; GDP Grows at Faster Pace than Predicted.
--Kiev Launches New Offensive to Take Back Russian Gained Territory; Putin Says Fighting is Fierce; Both Sides Say they are Winning; Putin Wooing African Nations with Grain and Food Give-Aways.

The butteriest, most mouthwatering TV commercials of all are from Red Lobster. Sorry vegans. And it is better than it looks. I was surprised the first time I ate there.
Johnny Lujack died a couple of days ago. He just happened to be my very first boyhood super sports hero. I used to try to emulate jumpin’ Johnny by throwing his style jump passes that made him a magazine cover celebrity while leading Notre Dame to the National Championship. I never did it as well as him. It’s tough to lose your heroes.
Why did the amoeba cross the road? It was time to split.
In an answer to our Q yesterday about who founded Liberia, one of really smart readers asked, “Liberace?”

A friend of mine pointed out that the American and National leagues are playing each other a lot more frequently this year. Are they just trying to make old stubborn, traditionalists mad, again?
Actually, with increased interleague play, interleague wins and losses can have a bigger effect on division champions than the normal interdivisional play. In other words, a loser team that does well in interleague can beat out the better division team doing best against its own division rivals.
They say that Ukraine has reams of documents detailing Hunter Biden business activities in that country. Could Zelensky be using that as a wedge to get Joe B ot sent more weapons. Just a thought.
I can eat sugar with either hand… I’m ambidextrose.
The Answer:
Number One is Justified. It’s now in a Detroit location. It is still well produced, but I'm not sure yet that I like it. Next is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia followed by Justified Primeval (The New One). Sons of Anarchy, Fargo, The Shield, The Americans, What We Do in te Shadows, American Horrow Story Archer an at #10, Atlanta. Actually, there were several seasons of Fargo, each one was a great, and unique series in its own, and crazy and always interesting.
I think the program I always looked forward to the most over the years was “24”, K-Thunk, K-Thunk, K-Thunk!
