But Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning is. I think I will spend next weekend binging, catching up on all the Mission Impossible series. The new is supposed to be very good. Though, I do get tired of watching Tom Cruise run.
There has been a lot of talk these past several years about how China if they wanted could bring the USA to its knees by calling for repayment of about $800 Billion in loans. Ouch. But not known widely is that China owes USA citizens about Billion Dollars. This goes back to the period before the communist takeover when American companies and individuals invested that post war fledgling country trying to break out of a poverty level economy. In fact, countries around the world are owed a lot of millions. You see, when the communists took over, unlike normal government takeovers, they did not assume the country's debts. But it is still on the books of America, and China owes it, BTW, Britain stood up to China and was repaid when it gave back Hong Kong. So, China is alike a guy with a big house and a bigger mortgage.

In order not to hurt the feelings of illegal immigrants here in RI, the state issued them their now authorized temp driving licenses looking exactly like regular honest citizen licenses. Florida says they will not recognize RI and Vermont, Delaware, Connecticut and Hawaii as valid for the same reason – you can’t tell the illegal form the true citizen. (RI just made a deal... until DeSantis gets back in town.) Oh yeah and non-citizens with those licenses can use them to vote. Are we nuts up here?
