Well it;s Friday morning and it's starting out quite well in this little corner of the sky; to paraphrase the thoughts of yesterday’s closing song. Why ruin it discussing the salaciousness of the flailing politcial morass.
I may have mentioned to you all that I have a nice looking stone wall roaming through the woods behind me This morn it seemed to take on the orange hue of the trees around it. I could feel the tension dissolving.

In this corner of the gridiron, the Interest Gage in College football is quite low for this weeekend. I can see Indiana-Michigan and UCLA-Michigan State being of interest to me. Iowa and Minn is a good Rivalry Game. Two popular teams nationally Notre Dame and Ohio State aren’t playing. The current number One BYU who I enjoy watching, is playing a lackluster Florida Central. So?

The Answer:
The NY Mets have the highest Salary and they went nowhere. Cleveland has the lowest and they were in the American League finals, Milwaukee is 19/30 and Tampa Bay 26/30 in teh rankings. It appears that instead of overpaying for players they should be investing in good management. The Mets total salary ;s 2.38 times higher than the combined salaries of the two teams in the AL Championship Series -- TB and Cleveland.
