Opening Stuff:
What
you see in politics is probably not what is really
happening. People study Poly Sci is really Political Science, although I find
it hard to attach the word “Science” to something that so often about
misinformation, disingenuousness and and personality engineering. It is about
creating something out of nothing and perpetrating it on an unsuspecting mass
of people who have convinced to believe that elected representatives and
presidents actually work for the people. But, something happened along the way.
People who aren’t getting something for free are beginning to believe that the Government
is more like a Golden Calf. Bowing to false promises. So, as I stumble through
this paragraph I’m beginning to think, where do I find that person who is real;
who isn’t bombast or more of the past. And, an image of Ben Carson forms before
me.
I’m
enjoying this rainy Tuesday morning.
When
Trump bragged about controlling politicians through
his donations, he pretty much admitted that he is already part of the problem. –Thanks for that idea from a brilliant analytical
reader.
For
some reason, and I don’t know why, but listening
to the Moody Blues makes you feel like being in love.
The
Question:
I never tire of listening to the Moody Blues. Name
five great Moody Blues songs.

Diet Pepsi has succumbed to public opinion and
will be replacing the aspartame sweetener with a new one. It is probably not a
good marketing idea, because there are many Diet Pepsi loyalists. They are
looking at declining sales, but it is probably not people walking away from
Aspartane, but the appearance of many new options for a generation that just
doesn’t like being part of older generations. I mean, it is that simple. But I
read about this decision and decided to research the controversial Aspartane.
First, I learned that all of the uniformed negative hysteria about the sweetner
arose after a “Hoax” email (Nancy Martini, Markie) distributed across the net
beginning in 1995. Second. The CDC has tracked it for years and have found :no
significant epidemiological associations to serious risk or harm.” Third, it has
been tested extensively as a cancer cause, and all results have been negative. No
Cancer. Nada. Over 100 countries have rigorously
tested the super sweetner and approved it as safe. In fact Aspartane has only
been found to have an effect on one disease or condition -- the genetic at
birth Phenylketonuria, which is very rare. Tidlets aren’t long enough to provide
all of the details, but Aspartane does not seem to be at all a detriment to
health. But, if you like to hate Aspartane, you can find something. Just don’t
read the refuted part.
I
think that clicking on “reply to all” is almost always a
bad idea.
I
was surprised that Kasich of Ohio didn’t do better in the polling.
I thought he was strong, and there is no doubt that he has done a great job under
tough circumstances in Ohio. I guess you need a gimmick to reach the USA voter.
Just being good doesn’t cut it. Maybe Gypsy Rose Lee could run.
The
hottest rumor on the political circuit is that in another
Big Bad Wolf scenario Bill Clinton called Trump in May 2015 urging him to run
in the Repub race. How better to disintegrate the Republicans, my dear. Duh!
Frankly,
I wouldn’t be surprised if Clinton hadn’t also asked Bernie Saunders to run. That
way, they would be controlling the Liberal side of Dems too. The Socialist and Hill
shake hands at the convention, and bingo…the Left wing Dem resistance against
Hillary goes away.
AGT
goes live at Radio City tonight. This is when the talent
emerges. The best way to watch it is DVR
the show and then just watch the people performing without too much of the
judges. The Tids Entertainment Editor will be there.
Did
you read that beginning Wednesday Verizon is going to
stop with the 2 year contracts. While people cheer then, they will soon come to
realize that the ocst of owning a new phone wll be rising steeply. I’m
wondering mostly how parents will handle addicted teens when the are forced to put
down their foot against escalating, budget busting costs. Of course, NYC’s Mayor
Deblasio, and Obama Henchmen across the USA will find a way to give them to the
poor for free, and once again the working class gets screwed.
The
hacking business is more creative than ever. Several
Ukraine computer hackers working with Ukraine’s in America got into Business
Wire services gaining access to news releases about company earnings and forecasts.
It is said they made upwards of $30 Million trading on “Insider” information.
The
Parking Lot: Chapter 9
Nancy
Joachim was an incredibly beautiful woman, which was probably the result of her
heritage. Her family’s rich past included lines to the Plymouth Colony and the
Pacasset tribes of Squanto. In addition to her intriguing facial structure and
deep feeling eyes, she had a sense of the lands that had been a partof her
family for generations, for centuries.
She was moving
swiftly now, but quietly as she kept the slow moving fat duo in check. She was confident
in herself now that she had retaken control; confident there would be no new surprises.
She reached another of her nests by the roadside well before the cumbersome duo
emerged from her long drive way. Their shirts looked soaked and their
hankerchiefs were busy blotting the sweat trickling down generous necks. Their
sorry appearance didn’t make them any less dangerous, so Nancy backed a little
into the bushes. The men walked up the street about fifty yards and crossed to
a small side lane, where she now noticed a little car parked just beyond the
trees. She would have to be more careful and notice things from now on. She was
the hunted, and everything could be something.
When she
was sure they had driven well out of sight, she ran down her path to the point
where she had the bike near her car. She took it out of its spot, checked that
her car was still well hidden, and rode down the path, now past her house to an
opening that brought her to the shore of Watuppa Pond behind her home.

Answer:
Here’s a good list, some well known and some not
so much, but all very good. If you’re a little hazy about some of them, maybe
you heard too much of Timothy Leary. Everybody is familiar with Knights in
White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon and the haunting Question. You will also enjoy
From the Bottom of My Heart (I Love You), Blue World, Gemini Dream, Ride My Seesaw,
The Voice, Go Now and fo course The Story in Your Eyes. I’ll get you into
YouTube, but it’s up to you when you leave.
