Today's Tids Issue 3,588
Opening Stuff:
I
used to be able to parallel park better by instinct
than I do now by using the rear camera. Is technology diminishing our instincts;
robbing us of our intuitiveness. Is this the beginning of the Robot takeover of
humans? Aaaaaargh!
I
like for Repub VP, the governor of New Mexico, Susana Martinez.
To me, she has it all, that is, until some Hillary operative turns on of her
positives into something negative.
A
question from student to another most often heard in
school lunchrooms is, “Do you have anything good?” Sorry Michelle.
The
Question:
Who are these people? Melinda Cures, Michael Murphy
and Pat Carroll? Bonus: You all know
that Napoleon was exiled to Elbe, right? But, on which Island did he die? Super Bonus: A 3 Million year old 1000+
caret diamond was found. Do you think it would be as big as a marble, golf
ball, tennis ball or softball? Quick
money Bonus: Who was the first American Space Traveler?

The
big battle brewing for the future could be Amazon
against Alibaba. Amazon, operating in a mostly free market environment seems to
be putting into place collaborative deals which should give them an advantage. But,
you can never underestimate the power of a country with 1.3-4 Billion people,
and a Government will to do anything for world economic power.
The
Personal Injury Lawyer Club of America must think it’s
having an early Christmas after hearing the announcement yesterday that the
Third biggest killer of Americans after
Heart Disease and Cancer, is Medical Error. Yikes! Not only that, but the John’s
Hopkins reporters of this stat are saying
they are promoting the development of a system that tracks everything and puts
data into usable, accessible formats, necessarily making the task of the
attacking firms easier. Whatever happened to Tort reform?
Speaking
of smelling out money wherever it may be, how about those
politicians now looking to get their hands on large college endowments, or
coercing the colleges into spending the Government’s way. How will these often
bastions of socialism react to attacks by the immovable force on their fortunes?
What the Gov apparently doesn’t know is that most good colleges spend endowment
income on scholarships for students, hoping to get the best students in a competitive
world. The top five most endowed colleges are Harvard, Yale, Texas University
System, Princeton and Stanford.
Nothing
lasts forever, and forever is becoming shorter and
shorter. Yesterday the recent super hot teen clothing company Aeropostal declared
bankruptcy. You can soar on fads, but the crash is always just around the
corner.
That
fire in Canada is horrendous. What is also
interesting is that this little known town of Fort McMurray in Alberta just
happens to sit upon the world’s third largest oil reserve after Saudi Arabia
and Venezuela. I really feel those people, many looking at the destruction of
their orderly lives for years ahead.
Spell-Check
must be a peacenik, or a Trump supporter… because it doesn’t recognize NATO.
The
Parking Lot will be back tomorrow.
The
Answer:
Malinda Culea was pretty famous after her role on The
“A” Team as Amy Amanda Allen. Michael Murphy is one of those chaacrter actors
you’ve seen often as unethical or morally ambiguous movie chacaters like politicians
executive and lawyers, but he is best known
for his role as Jill Clayburgh’s adulterous husband in Unmarried Woman”. Pat
Carroll was apretty funny comedian who won an Emmy for a role of the Ceaser’s
Hour TV Show. Sghe was also recognized for work in make Room for Daddy and as
Shirley’s Mom on Laverne and Shirley. In her later years she di many voice
overs with her biggest role as ursala in The Little Mermaind. Bonus: Napoleon died on St. Helena Island. Super
Bonus: This largest ever diamond would be the sie of a tennis ball and all
about “Love”. Quick Money Bonus: Everybody knew that Alan Sheppard was the
first USA Space Traveler.
Technology
can
be fickle.
Love
your afternoon.
