For real people:
When
the flooding recedes, everything will seem to appear
normal again, except for the homes that will be unlivable, the jobs that will
be lost from closed businesses, the sicknesses that will be bred from ill
waters. Yes, the cameras will move on, and the anchors in raincoats will travel
to the next urgent moment of the day. Everybody gets excited by news bits and
tragic photos, but too often too many move on too fast.
It’s
like when soldiers return from wars and fights for freedom
too quickly forgotten, and too many people ask, “What exactly were you doing
for us?
You
have to wonder how many people turned off the TV last night
after one of the first Emmy jokes by Co-Host Michael Che which pretty much denigrated
religious people and white conservatives. So much for the left’s cries for
unity. By the way, the Ratings tumbled last night- an all time low. Another
“Middle Finger” to fly over America last night will probably not be having
people eager to tune in for the other award shows.

A
lot of people these days are tying themselves into knots,
fretting over so-called hot issues of the day. But frankly, my concern right
now is about whether the New England Patriots can find enough bodies to improve
their talent level and compete for a championship.
Have
you noticed all of those Carolina “deplorables” out there
in their small boats, slogging through swollen rivers, helping out fellow citizens
in trouble?
The

We read a lot about the development of the
all-electric car. But can you name five of them.

H-Wood
just plain loves 1st (Fill in your favorite ethnic, race,

Sandra Oh lost out to The Crown’s Clare Foy. Actually, I was mildly upset with
that choice too, because my heart was out there for all to see for Kerri
Russell.

Attack Department:
A Dem women Barbara L’Italian of Massachusetts running
on the sexual accusation ticket has as a centerpiece of her platform – Impeach
Clarence Thomas. God save us.
Isn’t
odd how Dems who seem to like pushing for underdogs and
giving them second chances in life, will completely ignore that when their
priority becomes furthering their own power base structure, trumping their
intolerant hearts.
NFL
super receiver Josh Gordon is the poster child for throwing
away enormous talent. But in this case, it appears it will be a Repub who will undertake
the challenge of rehabbing him. But, not necessarily altruistically.
Speaking
of declining integrity, Senator Feinstein when announcing
her hidden letter, said we must stop the Repubs from getting more power on the
court. Do you think she was thinking about balance in the court when Obama was appointing
some serious unabashed liberals to the SC? Probably not. Actually, I don’t like
bashing Feinstein, because I think she can be a pretty good Senator. I use this
as an example of why the integrity of congress crumbles with each succeeding
ideology-based pronouncement. The senators used to be pretty good at maintaining
some semblance of unbiased truthfulness. Senators used to appear more mature,
with an ability listen to each other.
The
uncontrolled hysteria of the left is telling me that Kavanaugh
is exactly the man for the job.
Did
you know that in the past the wealthy always built their homes
on a high point away from the water? It
seems like a great lesson we should learn from big storms like Flo is that while
homes in flood plains have great views, they are timebombs waiting for disaster.
You’d think that with all of the scientific data at hand about all types of
natural disasters, that there would be a way to develop maps about where not to
build. Unfortunately, some developers prefer the cheap land in areas that could
be ravaged.
So,
whatever happened to the idea of rebuilding the infrastructure?
The
recent development of synthetic meat is silly. Why re-invent
the veal.
Could
Amazon eventually become the biggest bank in history?
The
Answer:
Well, reading above we know that Audi just unveiled
their own called Audi etron. Tesla with 3 models is certainly another. There 2
from BMW -- BMW i3 and their “BMW Brilliance” Zinoro 1E. A company called Boliore
has the “Bluecar”, while the BYD company makes the e6. There’s a Chery (Not
Chevy) QQ3 EV, and the Chevy Bolt EV. Citron has C-Zero, COURB the C-Zen and
Electricmannica the Solo. Fiat is charged up about their 500e and Ford is
Focused the Focus Electric. There are 34 more companies an cars including relatively
unknown companies like Venturi Fetish, MW’s Luka EV, Molores Limpos - Zacua, Ventos
ZCar, Sono Motors Sion, Rayttle i0n, ECIMove QBeak, Micro Mobility Systems
Microlino, Mahindra e-Vento and e2o plus, Lightening GT, Kyburz Race, Kewet
Buddy, JAC’s Jac J3 EV and Girfaico Azkarra. In additon there are many well-known
brands with EC’s like Honda Fit EV, 2 from Hyundai, Kia Soul EV, Mercedes B-Class
Electric Drive, Mitsubishi I-MiEV, Nissan Leaf, Peugeot i0n, 3 models from
Renault, Smart Electric and at last two from Volkswagen – the e-UP and e-Golf. Shocking!
Everybody wants to get into the act. Take your pick.
