Today's Tids Issue 4,582
There's always music:
Here’s to great achievements
great and small. All combining to create comminutes, good for all. From helping
the unfortunate to enlightening the brains and inuring the literate. To return
a simple smile, or lead throngs to cope with their trials. The governments may boast,
the governments may roar, but it is the people next door who continue achieve, to
sustain truths we believe. Life is about people like we, who take responsibility,
in this land of the free.
So, did you ever
think of that mobile food vendor as selling hotdogs a la cart?
You gotta figure
that the stock market will soar again today. You just have to wonder when big
money will start taking profits. Will the trend move to more conservative investments
as the elections with their inevitable volatility draw near.? Will high flyers,
though strong but overvalued, return to earth? Lots of things to think about as
the days to November dwindle down.
People think
too small these days.
I am really quite
confused about all of this hunkering down into ideological fortifications.
The Question:
A man goes to his doctor and says, “Please help me
doc, I think my eyesight is really worsening.” The doc asks the man to look out
the window, points and asks, “What do you see?” “I see the sun,” answers the man.”
How did the doctor respond?

Athletes are asking for ridiculously high
contracts. Baseball, in particular with no salary cap is subject to crazy high demands
and negotiation extortion. But you have to wonder if all will be stopping short
as the TV ratings slip and older big money contracts come up for renewal. Their
is a lot noise going around saying that the days of long term, mega money contracts
may be dwindling.
Overlooking bad
behavior has become the new national pastime.
If you see a person
with a glazed look in his or her eyes, it probably means he or she just ate a
dozen donuts.
I have no
problem with Romney’s Vote on impeachment.
Asking a senator
to resign because he or she voted their conscience is absolutely incredulous,
and you have to believe those who suggest it diminish their integrity.
Remember that the justice system
has always sealed juvenile records so a small youthful incident won’t affect
them later on. Now kids publish all of their own misdeeds on the internet for
all to see, and it never will go away.
I was in Macy’s two days ago
and wondered at the time as I looked around at the gigantic store with acres of
inventory ana handful of customers will ever compete in the future with on line
selling. No matter how popular the brands it still takes customers spending dollars.
You know how you have those moments when you suddenly realize, it’s over. The way
it’s been done is over.
Why is there a “W”
in answer?
But, when you think of it,
online selling is somewhat inefficient. People order and it is shipped; they try
it on and ship it back.
At least when people,
go into the stores they are getting out of the house.
Do you know why I have been writing
more poems about love and happiness? Because, the drudgery of daily manipulative
news is so depressing. Love always lights up your life. So, dive head first
into it.
Get ready
for Kakeibo.
There is just no other way
to draw the conclusion -- It was a political attack followed by a political acquittal.
I played golf this week
and went skiing last week. This weather is confusing.
The Answer:
The doctor looks at him a and says, “Jeez, man, how much
further do you want to see.?”! Bada Bing.
This was one of those days
when I sat down in front of the keyboard with nothing much on my mind, and
nothing urgent to say. And certainly, no funny jokes. And wondering if I would make
it to the end. Except, that giving thanks to all who go above and beyond to do something
for their neighbors in big and little ways, was probably worth today’s effort.
Every day we should think about the goodness in the human spirit. It’s just a nice
thing to do. I hope you got something out of it this morning because I don’t know
if I said anything.
Maybe you could just relax:
