Life is good, regardless.

Today's Tids Issue 4.644
Responsibility works:

Hey it is May! Yes that May, the month that has always thrilled, rich, full of things to do and most importantly people to remember, like Mom. Like all those lost in battles around the world. But, this year we won’t be seeing the gleaming thoroughbreds run for roses, or the slick tires pounding the brickyard. There will be no Taco festivals in city streets, or garden shows in village squares, or communist celebrations. Parades on Memorial day which remember, that signal summer is coming on strong. Yet, May offers celebrations like National Nurses Day and National Teachers Day. And how appropriate is that. Oh yeah, we can also enjoy “National Lost Sock Day”. Everybody is affected by that, but a Day? But this day begins a new kind of May, when so many questions have so few answers; where we can always have every day as new buds delight, up through the ground or an bushes and trees, day. That’s what I’ll be doing, looking for the rebirth of beauty.

Some days when I get up and out of bed, I sound exactly like a bowl of Rice Crispies.

Maybe what Punxsutawney Phil actually predicted was a pandemic.

The good thing about Covid is that we may be creating a generation who appreciates sacrifice and sharing, that everything in life doesn’t happen magically. That there are hard times and we can get through it.

The Question:

When people start walking out of their homes again. standing free again, looking up to the welcoming sun, they will probably be leaving homes with the cleanest ever closets, basements and garages.

Of course, a big negative this younger generation may take away is that government can solve all problems by going into debt for a couple of trillion bucks.

The good news for this weekend is that “Billons” begins a new season again on Showtime at 9:00 on Sunday Night. That will help me pull myself out of my homeland depression.

If those notes found at the FBI about “Getting Michael Flynn” are correct, it looks to me as one of the more horrible conspiracies in our history.

Some will say that Michael Flynn must be bad because he was fired by Barack Obama. I say he could be very good because he was fired by Barack Obama. Oh yeah, 0Man Pal Eric Holder ran the FBI at the time when Trump was moving in.

I vowed to myself not be political today, but this Flynn thing bothers me.

I just have feeling that when governors crack the door to freedom too many will rush through and create a chasm well beyond the capability of the Dutch Boy. The toothpaste is out again. How many more clichés do you want?

A soft haunting passage of music, always stops my heart in a pleasing, warming way. I drift.

Two of the most maudlin, barely watchable commercials are for Jewish Hunger and ASPCA. Could the announcer’s tone be any more dire? The droning moaning just goes on and on. Sorry for being so callous, but that’s the way see em’.

The Answer:
Number 10 is – History. Nine is CNN followed to the top by USA, Turner Network, TBS, Hallmark, HGTV, MCNBC, ESPN and at #1 Fox News. Going up to the Top 25, #11 is TLC followed by A&E, Investigation Discovery, Discovery, Food Network, TV Land, FX, AMC, Bravo, INSP, Lifetime, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, Freeform and #25 – Adult Swim. #115 for two years in a row is Comedy Channel, not to be confused with Comedy Central which is #34. Oprah Network moved down a bit to 44. Biz channels CNBC and Fox Business are 51 and 61. The Weather Channel is but 44, higher during hurricanes. The Golf Channel which I rate as one of my top 5, has moved up to 64 from 71.

Well, I hope where ever you are that your mind is still sound and you are very healthy. I expect to be sitting here for quite a while. Counting the money I’m saving by not shopping.

I wasn’t originally going to get a brain transplant, but then I changed my mind.

Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
