Today's Tids Issue 4,648
Mom love doesn't need hugs:
Happy Mother Day Weekend,
E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y! Buy her a nice diamond studded mask.
Anticipation
is exciting; instant gratification passes by.
A strong economy floats
a lot of flimsy boats. The fingernails are getting weak. In a few months we’ll
be seeing just how temporary this downturn will be.
A reader observes --
“There’s a lot of apathy going around, but I just don’t care…”
Speaking of anticipation –
the top opening 2020 NFL games will be Tampa Bay Brady versus New Orleans
Brees; Kansas City versus Houston and Dallas versus LA Rams. Down the road we
have KC at Balt (Week 3), GB Rogers at TB Tom (W6), SF at NE (W7), KC at TB (W12)
0. Obviously, many more crucial games will develop as the contenders are separated
out from the pretenders. Excited yet?
I just finished four
by phone doctor’s appointments, and my weight has never looked better!
The Question:
Here’s a little quiz about home, you know, where mom
rules and makes it full of love. See if you can finish the following first
lines of rhymes from the wonderful world of corny sentimental sayings: --“Dear house, you’re really very small…” --“Here let us
live life at its best…” --“A little house by the side of the road… --"Who
hath a friend with which to share…” “Houses are built of bricks and stone…”,.. --“A
cheery smile…”.

Without question
the Repubs will be jumping all over the FBI injustices story for the 2020
campaign.
Will Moms
be able to smell through their masks delicious aromas from flowers lovingly given?
Remember all of the
whimsical phrases purporting 2020 vision for the upcoming year? How cute were
some of them. But, nobody saw this coming.
CV blame accusations
are out of control. A new poll tells us that Americans say Obama would be doing
better at controlling the virus than Trump. But the two out of control huge states
NY and Cal are run by Dems. I know, that is convoluted logic, but that is the
kind of leaping to erroneous conclusions we hear these days. Too many people are
sitting in their lonely living rooms concocting theories of discontent.
Mothers are
mom-umental! Their support gave us mom entum showered with opti-mom love.
I am prejudiced.
I don’t read any story with a photo showing a person wearing a Ya, Ya, Ya…(WYKWIM)
baseball cap. Even if it is about a nice looking, hard-working, fearless, people-saving
nurse.
Praying mantises
eat murder hornets. Just in case you are interested. Maybe I should corner the Mantises
market.
If you keep
a glass of wine in each hand, it will be impossible to touch your face. I haven’t
heard that from the CDC!
Trump hatred blocks
rational thinking.
A computer
has an interface only a motherboard could love.
Wouldn’t it be nice
if a user name and password prompt said, “Close enough”? It would be nice for
me. I almost know everything. I would like that on Jeopardy, too.
I don’t much like
Donald Trump, but I have a hard time believing that he caused the pandemic.
I don’t know about you,
but to me it seems as though authorities would like to hide the pretty clear
facts that most of the CV cases and deaths are in the heart of bigger cities. I
read a lot of charts that aren’t generally not widely published, and it is
quite evident, and most people not holding press conferences are beginning to understand
that. I could be hallucinating, but I think not.
Minimum:
A small mother.
The Answer:
“Dear house, you’re really very small… just big
enough for love, that’s all”. “Here let
us live life at its best…Here may we find comfort and rest”. “A little house by the side of the road…with
a friendly welcome into our abode”. “Who hath a a friend with which to share…Hath
double the cheer and half the care”. “Houses are built of bricks and stone, but
homes are made of love alone”. “A cheery smile makes life worthwhile.”
“Be it ever so humble
(and confining), there’s no place like home.”
It’s a smiley kind of weekend,
regardless of weather or things weird.
Have a great one,
E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
