Today's Tids Issue 4,781
Time to Focus on Georgia:
Hi all. On Thursday I mistakenly ended the Tids as I always do on Friday with, “Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y’ But a funny thing happened on the way through my amorphous brain – it wasn’t Friday at all. But equally strange…because of an extremely cluttered Friday it has me writing Friday’s Tids this morning on Saturday.
I am a Republican with a capital “R”, through and through. And proud of it. I am a conservative and I am a lover of America, of all its glorious past, its ingenious creation and its innate ability to cope with the in inevitable incongruities and vagaries of the future. But, all the current President is doing is forcing Repubs to be dishonest with themselves; he lost, plain and simple. And he lost despite some good contributions to the country for some obvious reasons, most of those are because of his ego. Repubs have be able to move forward unencumbered by fantasy. We have most importantly Georgia Senate seats to win to ensure a degree of sanity for the future. We have to gather our thoughts, marshal our collective energy for success in the Congressional elections in 2022 and Presidential election in 2024. The Dems are fractured now, left versus moderate. We need to unify behind us, not a mythical chase. It’s time to move on, to dismiss the trauma in these unfounded theories of election thievery. Unified energy cannot be beaten. The United States is not about one man, but about great ideas assured through the courage and bravery of many thousands of citizens and soldiers; ideas challenged but always remaining strong. Ideas that will survive and carry us forward for decades, for all.
A herd of elephants working together the common good is called multi-tusking.
The Question:
Name two well-known traditional children’s songs that have the same melody

There will be a lot of people giving thanks this Thursday for, Zoom! For many, it will be Zoomagiving.
I don’t believe in messing with the Fed right now especially for a move that appears to come across as what vindictive. But, I do believe that the states should try to adjust their spending habits to repair thee results of fantasy budget planning, a problem regardless of Covid
There are couple of very interesting College games on tap for today, primarily because they each involve surprising upstarts against perennial powerhouses. The upstarts are Indiana and Northwestern. Indiana has really surprised a lot of people by their dominance in 4 games so far. But this week they are up against the Columbus Colossus, Ohio State, maybe better than ever. Northwestern is undefeated and ranked, but there are more doubts about their reality, and they must face a very big and strong, and talented, Wisconsin team. Good watching though.
I used to eat a lot of Natural foods until I learned that most people die of Natural causes.
The sales of fire pits and outdoor heaters have been increasing since the beginning of Covid. ow that it is winterish, they are booming. I assume it is because more people find it safer sitting outside. But, how will it work on 20-degree days. Note also, sales of vented tents are also booming.
To tell you the truth, I am spending more time outside now and I find that the more you face the cold the easier it is to feel comfortable being in thee healthier outside.
Once you are in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?
That Trump/Mnuchin Fed Confrontation is serious stuff, especially now when seriously economically disadvantaged people, and our entire economy, is in need of some assurance of a safety net.
I used to like Rudy G a lot, but he is looking a little nutty to me these days.
The President may look bad in his attitude towards accepting an election, but he is no worse than the hypocritical Dems wo still haven’t accepted the election of 2016. The action of the Dems and left in 2016 was disgraceful, a blot on a American history.
How did the person who made the first clock know what time it was?
The Answer:
The two songs are “Twinkle, twinkle little Star” and, “The alphabet song”.
Now that you know the answer, you’ll probably be humming them the rest of the day. And, you’ll hate me for it!
Have a great Humming weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
